So, I looked to see my join date and realise I've been here for three years and I just thought 'Good lord, where did the time go?' when I saw that. Do any of you ever feel like your time here has just kind of zipped by or long and slow?

I was a luddite with no internet connection, then I got one, nosed around, found this forum and joined. My forum age is the same as my internet age. So seems a lot longer than two and a bit years.
As an 05er, yes, it's weird. When I think of 2005 I can't even believe that was 7 years ago. That was really when I first really started Internetting. When I think of it that way then it feels like not too long ago.
I think it's funny to think that the oldest members here have been here long enough for a child to grow up and become a teenager.
ha I catch myself in similar moments when people are talking about things that don't seem that long ago yet they painfully point out that it was over a decade ago and remind me that I'm starting to get old
*looks at join date*
Where has the past ten years gone? Hard to believe that it's really been that long- Bloodmoon had just been released, Oblivion was just a rumour, and no one even had a clue about Skyrim.
I wouldn't saw that my time has seemed to have past fast or slow, but then again my time perception is off to begin with..
I was debating with myself on whether or not to join the forums before I actually did, since I wasn't very familiar with them yet.. at the time, I was frequenting Skyrim General before the game came out and was not yet a member. In terms of my time on here, I don't feel as if my time has either gone by too fast or too slow.. I joined last year in the summer months, having taken a break from the forums to put time into the game. It was only after I got bored of being in Skyrim General that I decided to move here to Community Discussion.. overall I'm glad that I joined the forums because I feel happy here and there are also a lot of people who, like me, have Aspergers and in the end it's like a home environment.
