Hello creatures of the forums, my name is Nordic Dovah and I finally decided to sign up to the forums Anywho, onto business.

In all you endeavours in Skyrim you must have ran into many favourable and many despised characters, but which individuals have struck in your mind, which characters bring that little smirk to your face as you meet them? Is it the forever loyal Lydia? Or the Whiterun guard who never wears knee-guards? Maybe an old friend or sworn enemy? My top five character are...

5. Mercer Frey - THIEVES GUILD SPOILER HERE (Is there a spoiler link here like on the Halo Waypoint forums...?)

I just thought of Mercer at first as another meh NPC wandering around the Ragged Flagon. And when he wanted me to come and find Karliah, I was like 'yeah okay, maybe you'll die and I'll get that shiny dagger!' And anyway, he fought by my side like a pal, and when we finally confronted Karliah, I was SO surprised when he turned to me and struck me down! I honestly did not see it coming! From then he was a cool bad guy, and my favourite line from him has to be:

Karliah: Right, he hasn't seen us yet. You, get up there and-

Mercer - Karliah, when are you going to learn that you can never get the drop on me?

His deliverance of the line was 5 star.


4. Karliah - Not the massive paragraph like above, I just like Dunmer, assassins and she looks REALLY cool in full Nightingale armour. And for some reason her voice is really relaxing...

3. Cicero - I love to hate this annoying nutcase. Probably Skyrim's best voice actor there, he is genuinely crazy.

2. brynjolf - I love him! He's just like a good friend to me in the game, and he's got a cool accent and voice. He's just a very cool character, I like him a lot.

1. paarthurnax - A very old and wise dragon, with a conflicted history of betrayal and attrocities, though he does aid mankind in its time of need, which is always good, I suppose.

And also (and NOBODY CAN DENY THIS) he has the best voice out of any character from any game EVER. When he says "Alduin, your time has come!" I was just pumped and it gave me chills. Just TOO. DAMN. GOOD.

Shame I killed him.

Probably Alvor and I don't know why, but he just seems like a cool dude lol.

My favorite character is Heimskr, because I just love seeing the killcam of my arrow piercing his skull.
Or maybe Nazeem because of the killcam when I walk up behind him and put my sword through his chest.

You are... truly sadistic, aren't you?

Though Hakeem does annoy me, that snooty little whatever he is...

Heimskr, Serana, Aela, Farkas, Paarthurnax, Odahviing, Arngeir, Esbern, Ulfric, Balgruuf, Cicero.

I am not truly sadistic, but I do enjoy the part of each character where I get to kill those two...even Cicero seems tolerable compared to Heimskr. And Nazeem just deserves it.
