Do you fear any domestic animals?

I'm scared of being near birds. If they're caged or even a few meters away, I don't mind.
However if they get to close to me, I freak out. I (quite unmanly) cried when my friend put his parrot on my shoulder.

I don't know exactly why. I think it has something to do with their beaks and ability to go anywhere they want.

Its weird because they're the only animal I'm terrified of. I enjoy handling snakes, tarantulas, lizards, etc. Hell, I've had the immense pleasure of petting a couple advlt tigers.

How about you?

Someone's bird bit me once. I was bleeding like crazy and I didn't even know the damn things bite.

I don't have real fears of any particular animals. I see you mentioned a tarantula and I do know I hate spiders and will stomp any of them near me within good stomping distance. I don't care if the spider is as big as my cat. Just makes me wanna kill it more and I'll get a gun.

I grew up on a farm on 80 acres so I've been around all sorts of animals my whole life, including wild ones out in the woods. ot just your ordinary barnyard animals.

Not sure if it counts as domestic, but I am afraid of butterflies.

I guess they're more "harmless" than domestic. So yes, I fear butterflies, a rather harmless animal/insect.

I just think they're disgusting. They also have very erratic flight patterns. They're not like birds, who will fly in predictable lines and circles. No. Butterflies zigzag across the air and will fly straight toward you before making a rough left turn. I just have a huge fear of one of them touching me, landing on me, etc. I even recall once walking home from my bus stop and freezing in my tracks because I thought I was about to run into a butterfly. I put my hands in the air and everything. It was probably strange for anyone watching (no one was, thankfully). They just really creep me out. Especially after seeing some movie showing an entire room full of butterflies, flying around all at once. All you could hear was the flapping of their wings in unison... Ugh.

Well, this isn't domestic, but it's supposed to be harmless... I have a serious fear of tailless whip scorpions.

There's something else in that family of arachnids that scares me just as bad and they're almost the same thing... I forget what they are but it might as well be the same.

I would freak out less with a deadly spider on me than one of those harmless things.

They really freak me out.

Yeah, any sort of creepy, crawly, slimy insects are a big no-no in my book. I hate 'em.

Creatures with more than four legs shouldn't exist.
