Do you go for maximum efficiency or style?

So, do you guys go for a more "I wanna be the very best" aproach, or "I want to be who I am and wear anything".

I guess an example would help.

Say you love the way Iron looks, but it's the worst metal. Will you still wear it (with or without enchantments and improving it), or will you just go with Daedric even though you hate it?

I go for the armor I most like... I have used my leather armor since I made my Bosmer.

Style hands down. My characters will become gods anyway in the high levels, so I prefer the perks, the weapons and the armor that please me. My level 40+ nightblade is still wearing the forsworn skirt thing.

As you often hear them say in Skyrim, a strong offense is a good defense. With that being said, I usually wear whatever I want and compensate with a strong offense or stealth!

I usually wear whatever suits the character I'm playing. I don't really care if its the best or not. Typically I use the Dark Brotherhood Armor or a Mix with the Werewolf Hide (From the quest in Falkreath) with a mix of leather/dragonbone or whatever for ligh armor wearers. And whatever heavy armor I like on my heavy wearers, Usually Dwarven or Ebony. But really its just what looks good on a given character.

Style, for sure! For my mage, it's Blue Mage Robes. Not as efficient as most other robe types, but they're easily the best looking.

Style. Hands down.

I use Iron armor and Linwe's Armor as two of my favorite sets just because they fit my charachter on top of looking sweet.

I'm hoping the new DLC will add a bunch of new hoods, cloaks and fur armors...the PC players make me jealous...

I'm usually all about efficiency, but with Skyrim's crafting system I can easily get by in an iron armor, so style wins this time.

(SPOILER ALERT for some ppl i guess lol)

Man i tried the Ancient Nord armor type , because of the looks and to go back to the primitive style of the true Nord, helmet with horns etc, but with many hits taken when confronting the enemy i found that i lost HEALTH to quickly, so i send it to a chest, hoping to Enchant it Later lol....

But ahah the one I'm wearing right now my friend, is PERFECT, for me though, it's the Ebony Mail Armor (does poison damage to anyone close and good for stealth) with a Daedrich Enchanted Helmet (39% arrow damage), Nightingale Gauntlets (good for Lockpiking) Nightingale Boots (good for sneaking and stealth) . Love the black armor looks and style... And as u can see i mixed a bit of 3 armor types :)
Works for me because i like to be practical in the game and at same time efficient, and have at hand all the things i need

:D

Armor is not an absolute requirement for success in this game. You can even complete the game with no armor on any playstyle. Any armor can give adequate protection to a character if your tactics are up to the challenge.

So, I hate to say it, but style is the main point for me. Which is kind of good as I can make the armor weaker or stronger as I need to in other ways in the game.

I have no interest in making my characters "the best." I can't imagine a more boring way to play any roleplaying game. My characters wear what they want to wear.

Efficiency at first, style afterwards. But this is just the way I feel comfortable, not necessarily the proper one.
