Do you guys ever see yourselves replaying Skyrim?

You know, like in a couple of years, when you get bored and decide to install Skyrim again because you're nostalgic.I just did that with Morrowind.Or is this impossible due to the sheer shallowness(if you can call it that) of the game.

I constantly replay Skyrim. Just like I still always replay Morrowind, Oblivion, F3 and NV.

I've still yet to complete a single questline (including the MQ) in Morrowind, Skyrim or NV. I've not started the DB or Thieves Guild questlines in any TES game, and I've not touched any DLCs in any of the Fallout games.

This is with a combined total of over 2000 hours on all the games. I'll never, ever finish them, and that's awesome.

Depends how the next TES game is, for me. For example I'd never replay Oblivion and Morrowind would only be a very very rare thing as the combat (even back then) annoyed me to no end lol. So if TES VI improves on everything I don't see myself coming back to Skyrim really, though who knows. It also depends on other games as well. If a series comes along to compete with the TES games I'd probably just alternate between playing that series and the latest TES game. If no other series comes along to deliver the same type of experience, more likely I'd replay Skyrim (when bored of the new one).

You're assuming we're gonna get bored of it. :nono: I love that! ... I kinda wish I would get bored of this game, there's other things I could be doing (more productive things) with my free time.

The "shallowness" you speak of is not enough to make me stop playing, but if I ever do stop, chances are I would gladly pick it up again at some point.

Whether it is shallow or not, is a matter of personal opinion. Also how much "depth" matters. Freedom and detail matter more to me; I like games that are what you make them. If I want it deep, I can make it deep. I don't think the game is shallow btw - many of the quests are, but the world is not.

If there comes a game that I like better than Skyrim, I'll play Skyrim much less than I do now, but I don't know how much less or if I'll quit altogether.

I expect to be playing Skyrim as long as I still have a computer around that can run it. I still play Morrowind. I still play Oblivion. Games don't become bad just because they become old.
