...until its patched

i havent played a game with that many bugs before (yes i did play new vegas). ive had 3 major plus even more minor bugs so far. that and reading the forums makes me afraid of doing anything, my game might be ruined (even more) around any corner.

if you wanna see (medium spoiler warning), i made a list just of the bugs that happened to me:

Odd, I've put in way too many hours (80+ according to steam already, wth...) and while I've had a bunch of minor bugs, there has been nothing even close to gamebreaking for me thus far - which is a big difference from my experience with early Oblivion/Fallout3/New Vegas.

I call shenanigans.

No game has gone out the door more broken than New Vegas.

what do you guys play on? I haven't ever had a bug on 360. I think the shadows from fireplaces are little funny but that's about it.

56 hours, barely any bugs, stop telling people not to buy it just because YOU Have problems, chances are you're messing around with the console and doing things you shouldn't be.

I don't know how many hours I've had, but I've only had one game breaking bug, and it isn't even that horrible.

Going on about 12 hours gameplay after having the game for about 48 hours. Experienced no major bugs or glitches like you saw in Obvlivion/Morrowind/Fallout. Gets slow at times, but never froze or anything of the sort.

New Vegas and Skyrim are on the same page in terms of annoying bugs.

Seriously though Skyrim does have its fair share of bugs. I can list many but it would involve spoilers.

360 version seems pretty good as well. I had one loading bug, and got stuck in a mountain I was trying to shortcut down like an idiot, but other than that... Pretty smooth. I had much more trouble with Oblivion. I'm the kind who likes to fall asleep to the music, so I leave the console on overnight, and then pick the game up again for an hour while I exercise before work. Even with that abuse, no real issues to speak of.

Well, other than Lydia. That kinda bums me out, but meh. Not game-breaking. Just annoying.

I am lvl 36, haven't encountered single bug. If i dont count some visual glitch every now and then, they are rare too.
edit: playing on PC.

It depends on luck.

My cousin has a PS3 version and she says its downright broken and glitchy and she keeps getting stuck and teleporting randomly. She even returned a copy of the game and exchanged because she thought it was a problem with the CD.

I have a 360 version and in my 60hours of gameplay,not a single glitch.

Some are just unlucky :(

Thankfully some how her glitches went away (for now) and shes having a blast playing the game normally.

I'm almost at 60 hours, and I have run into many minor bugs, but nothing I haven't been able to get around easily. If you are playing on the pc, and run into anything major, you can usually use the console to fix problems.

The only issues I've had with the game is the random crashes, I notice it seems to crash more often during fast travels. But overall it's pretty random I make a habit of quick saving every 5 minutes.

What bugs? Could you list them? I've put 32 hours into the game and I've not encountered any game breaking bugs that have stopped my enjoyment of Skyrim.

IT all depends on who you talk with, some have called this Bethesdas most stable game to date, and some say that it puts new vegas to shame.

25 hours and one quest ending bug, and while it's annoying, I wouldn't get up in arms like the OP.

Not sure what you've been smoking friend but this was a very bug-free launch. I've played 60+ hours so far and the only major bug I've ran into was the well-known Esbern bug that I was able to fix in a matter of 1 min after downloading and adding an extra voice file. There were also a couple of minor bugs with npc's that I ran into that were fixed by by zoning out and back in but to compare this to the new vegas launch is pretty absurd.

You're either having computer issues or you're grossly over-exaggerating.

The mask is a known issue but certainly is not a game breaking bug that I personally see having to fix ASAP. I think giants shoot everyone into the air when the character is slammed in that fashion. Don't see that as a bug myself.
