and built for that matter.

Its just cool seeing your stuff laid out. My 3 shelfs of alchemy potions, 2 deep, my flowers resting on tables and planters in the greenhouse. My table set with dwemer dishware, things like that. Still a lot to be done, but its definitely worth the frustrating of getting things to stay in place when you finally come back home from adventuring and just enjoy it.

It would be much nicer to 1) not have my mannequins all glitched and bugged up, and, 2) to be able to place items easier, like in Oblivion. I never really appreciated Oblivions item movement system until it was gone. :(

Still, yeah, Lakeview is, to date, my favourite house. Better even than Hjerim, which was my favourite. (And that had a bugged mannequin too...)

I completely agree, I never felt a sence of accomplishment in my previous purchased homes because you literally do none of the work making it "yours" it's great watching it take shape and collection materials and so on. If you take your time with it and plan it all out it can feel great to see it all come together. Not tried out two of the houses but the view from Lakeview Manor is fantastic.

I was dissatisfied to hear that this was the next DLC but was convinced otherwise on these forums it was going to be some great role playing experience. It's just the same old thing that was in the game just now you expect more. The kids say the same thing all the time when they are not turning into little glitch monsters, if you try and place items anywhere specific they end up all over the place and as for the weapon glass show cases, they forgot to add the ability to activate them so you can not place anything in them without it ending up on the floor. I think my manikins are coming to life cause they keep moving. Plus you can not see your house from a distance!

I'm still fairly pleased I've only ever been attacked once...By wolves. And Lydia of all people killed most of them before I even noticed they were there.

The display case thing is a pain in the a$$ ! Took me about ten minutes to place a troll skull, but hey this kind of thing should be an easy fix for Bethesda ( hopefully ) I've not came across any other issues though appart from not seeing my house from across the other side of the lake.

Apart from the glitches are you at least enjoying the house taking shape and collecting materials for it ? Would be a shame to have your experience ruined by constant glitches.

Oh I love it, I just finished the whole DLC and now I need more content! I got I library where I placed all my books I have collected in order by theme lol, took me 5 hours to move all my items from all my other homes and place them in new areas. I was hoping for a dragon attack but just sleeves in the basemant so far. In all I just can't wait for a much
Larger DLC because I have finished everything else.

Yeah a lot of people were disappointed with Hearthfire as a DLC but Its brilliant, I think a lot of people these days automatically assume DLC has to be massive and have hours of content but they forget DLC can be anything, big or small additions. So I don't think you will have long to wait for a big DLC release :)

I'm amazed that there was no option to activate bookshelves and display cases. I just don't understand the reason for missing that out, which makes me wonder if they actually forgot to put it in. I'm 99% confident this will be changed in an update but still seems odd.
