You know what this means, don't you?

Both Elder Scrolls V and Guild Wars 2, coming out in the same year, are using the exact same plot device of the revived ancient dragons. I realise it's not particuarly relevant, I just find this interesting...
I can't imagine I'll be staying with the forums though, since the trailer said the fifth game comes out in November, didn't it? I do not have the patience to keep up with something that far off.

Also I really should look into getting guildwars at some point...

EDIT: *Thanks for the heads up raithen.

I have to wait for next seasons of multiple TV series all the time. For Caprica, I had to wait 1 year for just mid season hiatus but only for a surprise reschedule which I learned very late just to see it was canceled. So it is nothing, really.

Oh god so much meta. Dragons for the last little while have became unpopular. Oh dragons? My book doesn't have dragons look over there a three headed non dragon thing. While your looking away he rewrites his story so it has no dragons. I mean there's always been those stories featuring them, but it's died down a lot. Now everyone's going to jump on the Dragon Revival bandwagon. Hahaha. Awesome meta is awesome.

Lol 11 months is so close. Look at other turn around for BGS games. Those were like 17-24 months after announced.
So in reality it's close, but if you can't stand to talk about a game that is going to be announced then okay.

We don't know yet if they're using the same plot device.

I'm suspicious of the whole "Return of the ancient dragons" trope that seems to be implied in the trailer. The dragons in TES lore haven't really gone anywhere.

11.11.11.

That's 11 months away. It's less than a year. It's the shortest time from announcement to release of any bethesda game.

I probably most of my time on the forums anyway.

I think you a word.

Well, we don't really know the plot of Skyrim. That being said, World of Warcraft: Cataclysm also has a similar story.

It's unsafe to assume the Skyrim plot will involve dragons. Unlike the narrative of the trailer, very few people in Tamriel dispute the existence of dragons.
