Hi everyone,

I'm trying to make a thread but every time I click post I get a message saying "You do not have permission to post links."

I can't find anything in the help documentation, and I'm not sure on where to post this, so I though I would just ask here- why is this happening?

To prevent spambots and trolls from mucking up the place you must make a certain number of posts till you achieve those priviledges. Might be 10 or 20 I forget.

Yep, that's the thing, sorry Sam Vincent. The limit are 5 posts and you must have been a member for at least a week.

You need a minimum of 5 or 10 posts, maybe more in order to post links For safety reasons.

Since when has this policy been in place, BTW? I don't remember this happening when i joined.

It's been in place for as long as I've been here what with my two join dates and all.
