My character's good but he will happily kill anyone who has a special gun on them or someone he deems are not doing things that are morally correct.

I tend to play a good guy (although I loved all the perks you could pick if evil) in most games. I am playing my very standard and extremely cliche dark-hero type I enjoy show much. The typical chaotic-good type. I can't say I have a fetish for my character although he is anti-technology and feels the current state of the world (FNV) is due to the evils of technology. So that impacts all of his viewpoints and how he interacts with the game world. He may use it at times, as a necessary evil, but he prefers to be an outdoorsman.

Cant really say "good" or "Evil" because I am sure what I did some would constitute as evil when I dont. For instance I wiped out the BoS after playing them and getting power armor training before I wiped them out and detonated their bunker. Reason? They werent doing good for the wastes by keeping to themselves and hogging all the technology for themselves and stealing technology for others. The NCR, I am not friendly towards. They push east taking land from people and then demanding a tax without even consulting the people first. I dont agree with that so I always will kill any NCR member I come across if not play them for my own goals. Cesars Legion, I have mixed feelings about. Part of me thinks their doing good but most of me disagrees with their ways on a personal level. Only thing left for me is siding for independance such as Vegas. Only problem is though siding with Vegas left those "should I trust House" feelings.

Spoiler
For instance when I found out the chip was a upgrade to his secret hidden armory of securitrons and his goal of taking over the dam and pushing NCR and Cesar Legion out of Nevada I started wondering if it was the right choice because he would have all this power and would that power be used for the benifit of others making them safe and protecting them or would he become like the NCR and start demanding money from his "citizens"

So personally for me I cant say my character was good or bad since my character did what he thought was right.

I also play on what my character thinks is right, Which in my opinion is good. I always play the good/positive role in every game my first playthrough. Also i will kill anyone that is not morally correct i agree with 'Wolfgrimdark'.

As far as factions i Like the 'NCR' even tho they may force taxes they are a far better faction to rule the mojave wasteland than 'CL', or as i call them "The corrupt 'BOS' Thats just my opinion.
'The followers of the Apocalypse' is also a good pick i just think they lack in numbers to be successful and are too kind. As far as defending the 'NCR' flaws i would say the Taxs is necessary to fund the war effort against some crazy legion of prisoners and tribes, if you want them ruling the wasteland you might be crazy yourself. The 'BOS' in this game are not the same as the 'BOS' from 'Fallout3' just to throw that out there for anyone who forgot.

"good" first. Playing the the story first time as a goodie two-shoes to experience what I believe will be the canon ending. (it's always the good ending :P)
Once that's out of the way though, I'll cut loose and be a total bastard, because it's so much more fun. :mohawk:

i'm usually always ending up good. But so far in New Vegas my karma is almost fixed at neutral.
I do good things but since you take a karma hit when "stealing" from the bad guys (powder gangers for instance) or even taking items from desolated areas, i end up neutral.

i got a feeling karma is borked atm.

I like to be the good guy, some people go 'just a game' but I get so enveloped in the game that I feel bad when I kill someone if it isnt in the right cause.

I'd have to definitely say evil, with most any game aswell, guess it's in my nature.

Spoiler

I slaughtered Goodsprings just moments after getting my bearings in the game, when I found Nipton I found what the Legion did was hilarious and knew I wanted to side with them. :P Lo and behold I helped Caeser's Legion take over the Mojave, while wiping out every NCR camp (including all the Ranger stations) and most civilian towns.

i play as neutral. im trying to convey the Goodsprings farmer/rancher mentality as much as i can in this game. just care about food and trading with merchants and trying to weaken the NCR and Legion

I am not really evil, but I am not necessarily good, either.

I walk the line, following my own moral code. For the most part, ATM, I am a good guy; I want to help people in need, I want to punish those who deserve it. Other times I try not to get involved. There have been a few times when I was outgunned and had someone with me someone else wanted dead, and I just kept out of it and survived. I wasn't attached to those companions, anyway XD

I tend to be good, occasionally too good. I side with what I think is right, but that doesn't necessarily mean I'm instantly anti whoever the "bad guy" is. I look at myself as a good mercenary, like the A-Team (except I don't always miss). I'll help if you ask and I think it's right, but I will also stand to the side and watch a camp get attacked, like when I saw traders get ambushed by CL or wandering NCR jump a CL camp. Also I'm not opposed to turning against previous allies, if the plot thickens so to speak or if you are a total [censored].
Spoiler
like Boxcars, that dude is an ass and after I finish the quest he gave me, he gets on in the head.

I also tend to wait until the very last second to decide which main side I will be on haven't shot a single NCR or CL as of yet.

I tend not to be a fan of stealing in games, but I may not be able to keep that up for too much longer, there is a stack of 5 boxes of 357 just sitting on a table and I may have to grab them.

I am planning my next time through to be a kill everything that moves type guy.

1st char is unarmed, explosition and speech focused on very hard & hardcoe. And my first plan was to start off as badass evil aka raider style. But decided it would be best to start as the friendly guy just so i dont kill a quest giver wich might have a awesome reward, so i know who to let alive for my next playtrough as the evil [censored].

well, I'm somewhere in the middle of the game I guess... playing a mostly good "jack of all trades" kind of character. he does do the occasional bad thing, but for the right reason. One example of this is when he stuck a lit stick of dynamite into Bennys pants, which amusingly left him doing the the splits in the hall of the Tops casino. all of my following characters will be more specialized and of different sides of the law/ morality scale.

Meh, doing what I like.
Not evil, not good.
But I do like killing every NCR trooper or ranger I meet.
And helping people like PG, Van Graffs, CL.

I play as mostly evil, but not TOO evil.

Like for example, I do all the quests and stuff. I've sided with the NCR, but you know the guy just as you get to Nipton who says he has won the lottery?? I spoke to him, then afterwards I thought to myself "Wait a minute, if he has won the lottery, i'm going to take his ticket!!!!" So i killed him in cold blood and stole it.

Haha.

P.s. I also steal anything that's useful if no-one is around.

I tried being Neutral and it seems neutral is as good as you can get. I mean I am shifted a lot toward NCR but I had no choice.
Spoiler
I killed Caesar so Mr. House can aparently protect the city better and to spare a man who's almost killed me twice.
And it was tough even there because Followers want him dead too for some reason! I couldn't decide!

The least I could kill the better, and some things I wish I hadn't done.

To be honest there are so many ways to play this game. You can truely be anyone in this game. You can be legion evil as much as you can be NCR evil, or aparently you can conquer everything. I haven't looked into that path.

I'll explore other paths with an evil twin character, "Bad Mannperson" ^_^ who will definately be more brutal and maybe even legion if it suits him. And definately a cannibal; I'm curious about a certain group and food seems harder to find than water.

That is the definition of Evil. Do you consider murder to be a habit that "good" people partake in?

My character is a bit of a kleptomaniac. He steals anything that isn't nailed down more often than not. Then he turns around and sells it right back to the owner if possible.

My first character is The Kid. He's loosely based on Steven King's character of the same name in "The Stand". Steven King based The Kid on Charles Starkweather. My Kid is turning out good. Strange how these things work out.
