Do you still eat breakfast?

Post » Tue May 21, 2013 8:54 am

Just recently have I realized for the past years of my life have I never really ate breakfast on a daily basis. Sure, on the weekends or days off of work I will wake up in the morning and prepare a meal of perhaps pancakes or bacon, maybe a biscuit or two. But even some days when I am free I simply don't eat breakfast. On work days do I absolutely don't bother eating breakfast at all, perhaps snatch a granola bar, but that's as big as my meal gets. I am sure other folk will fix a quick bowl of cereal and I would consider that a good breakfast. But anyways, do you still eat breakfast anymore, or on a daily basis? Maybe I'm just weird and the many reactions I'd be getting are "You don't eat breakfast? What's wrong with you?!", but I am afraid that's how it's been for sometime now.

Sometimes. Usually not. I'm never hungry until around noon anyway.

If you want to lose weight, eat breakfast. Well, a healthy breakfast, gorging on pancakes is not going to help.

But, you need something to get the metabolism going in the morning, and some food is the best way to do that.

Workdays are the only days when I'll bother with breakfast, although it depends on how rushed my schedule is.

I seem to lack the ability to gain weight efficiently. The good side to this, is that I can eat large meals and pretty much whatever I want without worrying about gaining weight. The bad news is, well, I can't gain weight and appear to be a bit underweight for someone my age. Trust me on this, I eat a lot of food.

That's sometimes my problem. Every time I wake up in the mornings I not very hungry. Well, maybe an hour or so after that then my hunger starts kicking in.

Yeah, every day. When I wake up in the mornings I'm not hungry, but I eat anyway, otherwise two hours later I'm sitting in class and I can't concentrate because of my stomach. On weekends I don't bother as much, I'll usually wait until I'm hungry, then eat.

Most of the time on weekdays, yes. Usually before class starts I walk across the street and grab myself a breakfast burrito. Hmmm.

I eat a cup of cereal to survive the morning.

For eggs and stuff usually on the weekends

I'm never too hungry when I get up anymore, and I could go a long time without eating as well.. when I do eat, it's only one meal and sometimes (depending on what it is) multiple servings. I also tend to snack on some food occasionally, when I feel a little hungry and want something small.

I'm comfortable with routines, so when I go to work I grab a sandwich there and eat it.

Always a sandwich after I've done the first set of dishes at work.

I don't really eat breakfast much, or lunch. Mainly eat at night since I actually have an appetite at night.
