Do you suffer from save game OCD?

Post » Sat Sep 08, 2012 8:52 am

I do. I'm always like kill, save, kill, save, kill, save, I can't help it. My saves folder size is somewhere near the size of the game itself. Is there a known cure for this?

Unbind the quicksave key so it becomes a chore to save so often? :P

I don't know if you can even rebind quicksave...

I don't rely on quicksaves, I always save in a new slot. Must be the reason why I have something like 5000+ save files..

Wow you have save files that go up in gb. I save like once an hour on 360.

I do this to the best thing to do is just don't save and in the end you just forget about saving.
Just live of the auto save.

I alternate between saving too often and not saving enough. Sometimes I play for too long without saving and then the game freezes and its really upsetting. I mean if I have to go back and redo stuff cause I died in a heated battle, that's one thing, but if it is a game crash, it is pretty annoying. I keep ten or fifteen save slots per character. You should try to cut the number down from 5,000 or whatever you are at now. :)

The greatest inventions of man in order of discovery are as follows:

1. fire

2. wheel

3. internet

Even though I post a ton about proper save techniques (not over writing slots too many times, no autosaves, save before you go somewhere not after you get there etc) I find myself going through the game not saving for an hour or two. Still, I have a couple of Gigs of saves for this game, and that is after I archived the really old ones a couple weeks ago.
