I would love a set of Daedric Daggers (small and thin, ofcourse like they were in morrowind)
if they do add them, then they will be endgame equipment for finishing certain quests. It is likely at endgame you will see everyone using at least one.
Doubt they'd add unique daedric artifacts, as a hundred players running around with the Ebony Blade or Umbra wouldn't be that great.
Lesser daedric artifacts maybe. Or even having some of the unique ones as 'relics' that confer bonuses upon a faction or guild and that are won through pvp.
They said something about daedric artifacts in Cyrodiil, as part of the PvP campaigns.
wabbajack is confirmed to be in the game.
if they do not add them, people might start complaining that their favorite item from the games is not in ESO. Then enough people might will complain that Zenimax will cave and add them to endgame content. not saying it is a good thing, but most people do not care about the lore/role-playing/immersion.
Well, then tough for them.
I'd hate to walk into a town and see a dozen players wielding Spellbreaker and Umbra, wearing the Lords Mail and Masque of Clavicus Vile and spamming the chat asking how they charge Azura's Star.
Prefer them as pvp campaign rewards that grant benefits to a faction.
And if they put them in as endgame items, restrict players to just one.
Just include them, but only have one of each like in a real world and let them be ultra rare vanity items that people wage wars over like the Hope Diamond or something.
Seriously it would be really cool if all the unique Daedric artifacts could be found in Cyrodil and perhaps (only these unique Daedric Artifacts) could be lootable off of player corpses. But then if someone ran back to stash the Ebony mail or Savior's Hide in a chest, they would magically transport back to Cyrodil after 1 week of being out of Cyrodil (note if someone stayed in Cyrodil for more than one week and was able to retain the artifact for more than a week that is totally possible because they could be killed and it could be taken, but if they tried to horde it the unique item should gravitate back to Cyrodil).
Another cool idea would be that if you died wielding or wearing your Daedric artifact it would be sent back to it's corresponding Daedric prince.
This is pretty much they only way they could do them without there being hundreds, if not thousands of copies of them. Better that artifacts be one of a kind as Cyrodiil only items than everyone having their own personal Azura's Star.
