Do you think we will meet talos?

Post » Mon Jun 24, 2013 11:35 pm

I know around this time is when young talos take over with the help of some other person in which he then assasinate to become emperor. Does that mean that in a future dlc talos ( or hjalti I think his name was before he becomes a god) will kill the current player emperor or?

What do you guys/ girls think?

The Alliance War begins in 2E 582. Tiber Septim was born around 2E 828. We won't meet him.

Yes, the Interregnum lasted about four centuries. A lot of warlords attempted to conquer Cyrodiil at the time, so ESO's "become emperor" feature actually makes perfect sense: someone takes the throne only to be soon replaced by someone else, while the war rages around them.
I wonder how they'll deal with time progression. Will it be the same speed as in real life? In which case we'd need to play for nearly 300 years to see Tiber Septim ascend to the throne. :P But the game can't last forever, it will start dying one day and dawn of the Tiber Wars would be a fun way to end it. Certainly more entertaining than "Hi guys, it was a great adventure but now we're shutting down the servers, bye."

Well, the day/night cycle in ESO is 4x that of the real world. So for it to reach Tiber Septim's campaign to conquer/unite Tamriel, it would still have to run for over 75 years.

Right, I forgot how fast it goes.

In any case, single player TES are stuck in one point in time even though the date changes, so if ESO works the same way Tiber Wars will always be an eternity away.

Well, they can always choose to jump ahead years with expansions/patches, but like you said before, Tiber Septim's rise to emperor pretty much spells the end of the game as it's been presented.

LOL how did I ever miss that?! Also, being an aspect of Tiber Septim, what does that mean exactly?

Btw, Daggerfall players encountered the Underking, right? Then they partially met Tiber as well if I'm correct.
