Do you usually end up marrying the same person?

I feel like I always end up with Lydia. She's been with me since I first became Thane of Whiterun early in the game most playthroughs, and I'm sure we inevitably get close when I have my character sleep at night. She's video-game attractive and a good fighter, what's not to like? Although one playthrough, I got really fed up with her bullcrap. I don't even know what she was doing, but suddenly her armor was gone. In a fit of rage, I led her deep into the forest and slaughtered her. Subsequently dragging her body into the nearest river, I returned home, wondering how I'd tell Sofie that her mother was never coming home...ugh.

How about you folks? Do you have a usual group of Skyrim NPC's you marry?

My top three are Lydia, Aela, and Muirui.

Big mistake buddy.

I USUALLY end up with Ysolda, but this playthrough, she appears to have hit a bug where I can't get her a mammoth tusk. :/

I think I only married on three characters. Once was Ysolda, another Aela and the other was... was... some male warrior I can't fully remember lol. On Eayri I'm going to go with either Erik the Slayer or one of the male Companions. You know they are animals in bed, right?

For me it's usually Aela. Otherwise, its Ysolda. I'd like Mjoll better if she didn't wear iron armor at home. Anything I give her sets back to that at the house.

One married Ysolda, one married Jenassa and one married Mjoll.

My Orc is far too pimp to be tied down to just one woman.

Never trust a big butt and a smile.

Unless your family are Nords, and your wife is a companion.

True, i'm playing as a Nord but haven't bothered with companions yet with him, only done main quest, joining stormcloaks and all dlc's so perhaps it's time to finish it now.

I don't blame you, as the quest is rather dry and has terrible pacing. I do like it for the free training, and rp possibilities though. And some of the side missions afterwards are fun to do. The special little side quests you get after doing some radiant ones.

You should always give your wife a "mammoth tusk" when she ask for it or she may find someone else who can ;)

Two of my chars (main and battlemage) married Mjoll because i like the idea of them being together, and living a weird five-some in Solitude with Aerin and Jordis XD.

The others are still lookin'.

I have only once actually married in Skyrim, but all my Altmer male characters end up hanging around with Faralda and my non-Altmers with Ysolda.
