If you were allowed to put new clothing in game, what would

Post » Wed Jun 13, 2012 3:27 pm

I would say fur coats. (i know you can get one type of coat with fur, but you either need to kill Ulfric or some sort of thane for it and console players can't use commands)

Not that i am a big fan of walking around with a dead animal, but it does fit well in a norse and cold land.
I guess they would be more expensive than the other clothes, since it really would be a rich man/woman thing.

What clothing would you do?

I also did not mean the fine clothes, i really mean those clothes that are completely covered with fur. (you had them in the medieval ages, no doubt it would have been quite expensive though)

In an Oblivion plug-in, Unearthing Mehrunes Razor, there's a red silk enchanted robe and hood worn by Frathen Drothan that I'd love to have in Skyrim. They are the Spellturn Cloak and Bladeturn Hood and I just loved the way they looked. I can imagine them even better with the Skryim-style art in full-length.

I'd like to see more and better types of imperial armor. Love the looks of those (especially heavy armor). Would like one in gold or something, similair to what Tullius is wearing. (Thinking of armor as seen in The Immortals movie).

I would make it so Clothes aren't Gender Benders, for some reason one form of clothing can be male and female. If I want Skirts as a Male I want mah Skirts!, I would separate them into Pants, Gloves, Shirts Hoods, belts and Shoes. Robes that have hoods on them would be toggle, and all digits on the player could be equipped with rings. I would then have every article of clothing from every game put in.

Because I love you

More light armor. Especially stuff that doesn't look clunky/too heavy to be light armor.

Some cloaks, for the stormcloaks!

And, ofc, for us to. For example, General Tullius armour would look epic with a cloak, as would the Stormcloak officer armour (atm it's kind of a half cloak).

More of the Jarl's clothing would be nice too.

Some wizard hats - wanna' be Gandalf.

It would be cool if in one of the dwemer ruins you could find a dwemer outfit - gold collars and headresses I always imagined it as.

What about a tailor as a merchant? Player could pay to have certain pieces created in different patterns/color variations.

I'd say it would be nice to have more options for mages in terms of robes styles and colors that can be enchanted. Also, hooded robes that can use the circlet. I played as a pure mage on my first play through and found the options lacking. I really liked the adept robes, but unfortunately you can't find those unenchanted. I think assassin style players also need more options. The dark brotherhood and thieves guild outfits are cool, but again can't be found unenchanted, and a lot of the better light armor is too clunky. If all the of the current options available could be found unenchanted, and all armors could benefit from a specific smithing perk, the possibilities would be expanded greatly.

Generally, it would be nice if there were more aesthetic options when better armor becomes available. I love the look of the steel armor, orc armor, imperial and iron banded armor on my Orc. Anything better than those just kind of looks ridiculous to me, based on the characters I tend to role play.

Also, I play on Xbox, so mods aren't an option for me.

More casual clothing to wear, so the NPC look very different to. So you really see the BIG difference between poor and rich. Also i would like the Mithril armor would make his comeback in Skyrim.

What they said. Also more variety of color would be nice, I guess if you like nothing but earth tones and greens and yellows its fine but personally I find the options hideous in that regard. Clothes (besides "fine" clothes) that don't already look faded, dirty and torn when you first acquire them. Oh and COULD WE PLEASE NOT HAVE ULFRIC'S STUFF TURN TO **** WHEN A FEMALE CHARACTER OBTAINS AND EQUIPS IT kthxbai.
