If you were in charge of Cartoonetwork

Post » Sun Feb 24, 2013 4:18 pm

The title says it all. The reason why am asking is because CN is well dying to me and soon I'll just stop watching once Young justice, and the animated green lantern series is canceled and the new batman show make me want to jump into the ocean and live the rest of my life in sea of oblivion, so what am wondering what would you do if you were put in charge and canceled or re aired anything you want. Hell you can put your own ideas of show in the channel.

I'd get rid of any live acting shows and probably do away with advlt Swim and keep Toonami, I'd recycle old shows like Voltron, Sailor Moon (if I can), Courage, Chowder etc and finally do away with any shows that Tim Eric are doing (except for Tom goes to the Mayor that wasn't a bad show----the rest they did svcked).

Cartoons all day every day. If not, I would re-name it: Cartoon (sometimes) Network.

Mornings would be filled with some oldies like Tom and Jerry and other good classics. 11 am and after would start the good stuff like Young Justice, Teen Titans, and this would repeat again at 4pm for kids getting out of school. Starting at 9pm though would be all Anime. Starting with the classics like DragonBall Z and Cowboy Bebop, Rurouni Kenshin, and then later some of the newer stuff like Bleach. On Saturdays would be a mix of new and old Anime's all day. If there wouldnt be any copy right disputes it would be dubbed Saturday Anime.

If I ran Cartoon Network, I would probably cancel these live action shows. Second thing I would do is invest in better shows that were along the lines of Two Stupid Dogs, Ed Edd and Eddy, Power Puff Girls, Samurai Jack, Symbionic Titan, and Dexter's lab. Young Justice is, or rather was a great show and it will svck to see it end. I'm getting disgusted by these TV stations and their practices where all they care about is the bottom dollar, heaving as much crap on an already piled high mountain of turds before it collapses. These people need to make money to sustain shows and thus make them viable, yet there is a point to where you are just downright greedy.

Bring back toonami in the daytime. Old school advlt swim with anime being the later part of the night. Get rid of the live action shows (sorry its CARTOON network).

Maybe it's just me, but I feel like many kids these days aren't that interested in anime. I remember coming home form school and waiting for Toonami.

I don't think I've turned that channel on in years. Don't watch much T.V. anymore.

i'd get rid of all the live action stuff for sure. Also split the advlt swim segment into funny cartoons and serious cartoons/anime. Also i'd quit showing reruns of american dad and familiy guy twice a night, i mean american dad is funny but not that funny.
