Your approach to Bthardamz?

At the end of Peryite's quest you can ask him what will happen with the Afflicted. He responds by asking if you left any alive. My question is: do you?

My first time in that dungeon I treated it like every other dungeon: if it lives, it dies. At least that was my approach right up until I went it to that one room where a women talks to her sleeping brother about their situation. I listened to that and thought perhaps she would like me to help her escape. But when I showed myself she and her brother attacked me.

Nevertheless, hearing that conversation changed my overall approach to the dungeon. Now I try to slip by as many of the Afflicted as possible without killing any of them. They may be daedra worshiping idiots (anyone who worships a daedra is an idiot in my book) but I don't see the need to kill them. Heck, I even tried to speak to Ochender to see if he had anything to say about the situation, but he just attacked me.

I have not been totally successful in my efforts to not kill the Afflicted. Some still end up dead. Like when I got to one part where dwarven automaton pop out when you get close. They ended up attacking and killing all the Afflicted on that level. But for the most part I just sneak by them.

Just curious if I am being weird or if anyone else shares my madness.

I kill them all, and let whatever devine being that wishes to waste their time on them sort 'em out.
