Okay, so thought I'd ask whats your best random found loot, know a lot of people are using smithing and enchanting + alchemy to make godly weapons/armor, and others are avoiding that all together.
I tried searching and all I found was people saying random loot svcks, It might not always be good but I know when I find something good I feel more grateful where as if it were every dungeon I went into it'd be kinda ehhhh haha.

As for question, I know in Oblivion, you could find rare pieces of loot sorta like that necklace that reflected 30% damage that was pretty rare to come by. Is there any rare loot like that to be found or is it all the generic resistances/carry capacity.
I'm planning on not smithing or enchanting anything for my own character until I pass level 50 (though i do use the skills for occasional profit), and won't create anything I haven't found as random loot in a dungeon either so in other words won't smith me a full set of daedric armor til i find all the pieces randomly in dungeons n all that .

I dont use enchanting of smithing either, though alchemy isn't enhancing your weapons/gear that much... But yeah I just found a dwarven shield at level 22 in a chest with resist 23% magic damage.

There are lots of rare / unique weapons out in the world just waiting to be found. Some involve quests and others are, quite literally, sitting in a cave digout guarded by 2 trolls. I don't wanna spoil anything but I can give you a few to hunt out if you want.
