Your character's race?

Post » Fri Dec 16, 2011 8:24 pm

As it says, the race of your character!

Post the name of your characters race and feel free to fill in a little information about why you choose the specific race. A screenie of the character wouldnt be bad either, but not nessesary! (remember spoilers)

I'll start out!

I'm playing as a Bosmer (Wood elf) because I wanted to try out a character who's using a bow. I usualy alwyas just go nord and smash everything xD, but this time I wanted to be a stealth archer. And I succeeded :D

if there is any thread like this already, I apologize, I've been through the 10 first pages, but I havnt found any.

I've played as a redguard and as a Nord. My computer's GPU...ahm...discourages magic and stealth gameplay. So warriors is the way to go, man!

You should add a poll.

I have different builds for different gaming aspects. Through each the game is revealed, as no single character should be a do-it-all.

1. Tracker class(Male Nord): Scaled Armour w/Hide Shield, Ancient Nordic War Axe/Imperial Bow. Alchemy for Healing potions and Damage Health poisons.
He lives off-the-grid, exploring and hunting. No MQ and no Factions. Misc questing only.

2. Vindictor class(Female Redguard): Steel Plate, Ebony Greatsword, Destruction and Restoration.
She's my tank, doing MQ and a few Faction quests.

3. Seeker class(Female Breton): Enchanted Robes and clothing, Elven Dagger, defensive and restorative spells.
Studious little gal interested in Restoration and Alchemy. College member who lends a helping hand here and there, but mostly keeps to herself.

Had a 4th character, Male Bosmer Hunter/Thief, but he died fishing.

http://img192.imageshack.us/img192/2481/tesv2011120600321433.jpg is a Khajiit and she uses dual swords, bows, and a little magic. I brought her from Cyrodiil and she got picked up by that Legion ambush while she was crossing the Cyrodiil/Skyrim border. Welcome to Skyrim Aravi.

Female Altmer. Why? Apart from always playing them, this time I wanted my character to be an outsider, and my favourite race just so happened to fit that bill perfectly.

my character is a http://i.imgur.com/oZAEz.jpg called http://i.imgur.com/twhVv.jpg. Yeah i know, very creative..lol

He's currently level 51, so yeah that 1st screenshot up there in the 1st line is a bit old, but i'm on xbox so everytime i want to take a new one i have to switch on my laptop, hook up the HD PVR, open the program and so on and so forth... nay.

Oh, and he's one stealthy ***********

I'm also planning on 3 female characters, 1 nord, 1 imperial, 1 breton.. to take the classical Warrior, Thief, Mage roles, but with some roleplay and back story mixed in

Imperial. It wasn't my original choice but it fits my current RP idea the best. I'm trying to roleplay as a character similar to Brynden "Bloodraven" Rivers from the ASoIaF series.

Little annoyed the lightest hair color is light gray at best though. Doesn't seem like a real Targaryen without the pale white locks. Hoping a mod expanding on hair color in general comes along soon.

I'm playing an Orc named Dars Gro Braknol. He's a common combat class. I always play an Orc the first time through; I just like them.

Mine is a Nord, partly curiosity, partly if i'm going to play a game with fantasy vikings i might as well play As them.
Tried to spoiler tag the pic to avoid page-stretch and offending the eyes of those who like pics with multiple megapixels.
image tag refused to work so...

Already done most of the quests that interest me so i'm just going around doing little stuff like helping at the sawmill, avoiding evil Evil dragons, looking through ruins i missed earlier...

Playing as a Nord named Michael. I know, I know, name doesn't really fit him, but I always name my characters after me. Unfortunately I have no idea what my name would be in Nordic culture. Anyone mind helping me out? I'm also a jack of all trades. Keeps things interesting. Sometimes I go sword and shield, other times I sneak with a dagger slitting throats or a bow firing from the shadows. Other times I have a spell in both hands, roasting foes alive or doing other magical related things. Summoning, playing with their minds, etc. Other times I might rock a one handed weapon and a spell in the other hand. Keeps things very fun. I run with Steel Plate Armor, despite being level 50. Use a Skyforge Steel Sword, a Steel dagger, and a Hunting Bow with Steel Arrows. Everything upgraded to legendary as I have a 100 smithing. Because of that, I still fair very well, as smithing allows you to pretty much use whatever the [censored] you want by upgrading it. One of the most beautiful things about this game that is. You're not forced to use the best items just to do well and stand a chance. Here's a pic.

Most people would assume I'm a Redguard. Makes sense, from looking at my name, yes?

...But I'm really a Breton. High Rock, West Side, what!
