Your crazy adventure stories

I can understand why you'd react that way, but that's some pretty [censored] behaviour. Having people try to rescue her, thinking she's in danger, while the two of you run and hide? :slap:
I can understand why you'd say that, and while I doubt you're at a moral high-ground and justified in lecturing me, I appreciate your feedback.

To clear things up, we drove around five minutes later and everything was disbanded. And after checking with a law enforcement friend of mine the next day, the entire incident didn't even get a report in the system. That road is rife with teenage shenanigans, and for all I know, since my version of events didn't end up in the system, something completely different could have been going on down there.

I'll make it short.....

Was going to Biloxi to do some gambling. Got pulled over for doing "92+" in a construction zone. Colp let me go but impounded my car. Walked to the bus station. Rode to Biloxi. Walked to the Hard Rock Casino and Hotel. Lost all $1000 of my "fun" money at around 2AM. Selpt on the far end of a peer....b/c a roaming homeless guy was on the beach end of the peer. The bum leant me some bug repelant. Woke up. Conned some ppl on the beach into thinking I was homeless and got $50. Got some beer and some food. Sat on the beach until late that night. Joined some college kids bonfire. Slept on the same peer...no homeless guy this time. Woke up. Walked to the bus station. Rode back home. Walked miles in the bad part of town to a guys house where I knew they were playing poker and I could get a ride home. Found a ride home. Crashed when I got there.

I wasn't in my teens or early 20's......I was 29.

Haha, good old Biloxi. Loved the Hard Rock there. Was just at Keesler, but now I'm in middle of nowhere Texas (Wichita Falls). Biloxi was paradise.

When I was in the Army, a billion years ago. I met someone that hated me, I hated him too. Then we got married.
On the way to get married we had to take a boat. We both got seasick, Very seasick. So of course the first thing we decide to do once we are on dry land is to go out drinking!
We are now in a foreign country. We get lost trying to find our way to our hotel. We meet friendly natives, Who are also very drunk. Their English was good, but they were drunk and so were we. We did laugh alot and they helpfully led us to the wrong place.
I was now at a train station. And I don't feel good. Nor does he. After 6 hours we find our hotel. In time for check out! We get married, with our luggage surrounding us. Get on a train to take us to a boat, and got robbed!
Ended up at the american embassy to get some money to get back to base before we were AWOL.
Got back, had to walk 5 kilos back to base because the embassy only gave us enough to get back to train station. got to base exhausted. Found out we had to pull gate guard, Had to stay up another 12 hours.
In the freezing cold, in February

it's been 30 yrs though with him. .

I was once playing a two headed giant game of MTG when a nerve wrecking tie breaker presented itself, they had a solid team of creatures and I had a lot of small ones that could not bring them down, they knew this and attacked. The blows were furious and raging and we were left closer to death than not, but then I drew a Gavony Township! I put it down, tapped the mana for it and stormed them with my former 1/1 creatures now 2/2 turning their sure victory into crushing defeat!

...wait, let me try again...

I was once at a summer house equipped with 20 novels each over 300 pages long and I read them all within the week I stayed there!

... :( Why do kids that turned nerdy early on have such uninteresting lives ? I guess I better dig way deeper into my childhood...

Once when I still felt it was worth it to sit for hours out in the cold with a fishing pole and some sandwiches to nom on when I got hungry rather than just staying inside while at a summer house during vacations reading books while consuming candy and soda in great volume I got really lucky with a fishing trip so I'd spend the entire day fishing after the first day there.

I wasn't used to really getting any fish when I went fishing but on the first day of a week long vacation at a summer house near a lake I got 3 fishes, nothing great but it spurred me on to go again, and again I got 3 and then on the 3rd day I drew in 7 fishes (when you're talking about fishing many different types of "fishes" but often the same "fish" a few times do you say "I fished a lot of fishes" or "I fished a lot of fish" ?) which just meant I spent the next days fishing too and at the end of the week I had fished 21 fish(es?) and my cousin (he and his parents were renting the summer house with my family) had gotten 18 so despite eating a lot of fish they still had over 40 fish (the old folk also did some fishing but not nearly as much) and they just didn't have storage to take so much fish back home so a lot of it was just left for the foxes and birds to nom on. I can imagine someone walking around the summer house area and stumbling on a pile of over 40 dead fish close to the lake...

Not really a crazy story but, it's probably the best one I can bring up about something that involved me doing something directly. My life has been way too calm. I guess I'll bring one other story up but it's hardly about something I did but I at least was involved in it.

Again at a summer house and in fact renting with the same cousin and again his parents but they were in the next summer house to ours which was just one wall away really since it was a bunch of summer houses in a row connected together. My parents had once decided to go out and mingle with the neighbours as me and my two older brothers went to sleep. They had been drinking so their judge of character was probably quite a bit off but in anycase they invited two other guys into the summer house and they both had a dog each and had been drinking too.

At some point in the night we heard a loud crashing noise and it became apparent that my parents were fighting those two men. The dogs were growling and everyone was yelling out in the hallway and my oldest brother decided to go take a peek outside of our room to see what was going on but was met by my parents who each had their own bruises and we could see glass all over the floor and the men and their dogs outside cursing. My parents had somehow managed to drive them outside of the summer house but they were quite certain they would come back for some vengence so they decided to have us all move over by the back door to the summer house my cousin and his parents were in.

We managed to get there unseen and we heard they had returned to our summer house since they were pretty loud and there was only a wall separating us. We called the cops and had to huddle there until they came and at one point they knocked on the door of the house my aunt was renting and asked if she had seen us somewhere but she of course just pulled a bluff and waved them off saying she hadn't seen anyone.

After a certain amount of time the men and their dogs were found by the police and people were brought over to fix up the summer house we had rented. It's quite reassuring that despite being somewhere in the country in a summer house if you call the police it will respond quite quickly, I was quite surprised at how little time passed until they came.

Again, not really a crazy adventure story with me really just being an observer but perhaps it passes here.

On my first summer after my last year of High School, some of my friends and I went blueberry picking in the forest to sell on the side of the road for extra cash. While we were picking a scruffy gentleman with a great beard came up behind us, my friend nearest him jumped and said, "Oh hello, I thought you were a bear for a second" then suddenly the guy pulls a skinning knife on us and rambles on about how he's gutted bears twice his size with that knife and demands we give him our berries, naturally we all booked it, berries in hand, and got away. We still talk about it over 7 years later.

My story is pretty short...

I believe I was about 12 at the time. Me and a friend of mine went exploring in these woods behind his house. They went on for miles. Somewhere along the way, we must of discovered some kind of disortion in space and time. I say this because we were only out exploring for like 30 minutes or so, but we both got in trouble with our parents for supposedly being gone 3 hours+. Either that or we were abducted by aliens and memory wiped.

Used a washroom, well didn't use it more like. Someone had left their mess all over the seat, next guy to come in is a big ass trucker. Thinks I made the mess and wants to punch me out, but wise old obi wan kenobi like bus driver talked him down quick and we got out of there super fast. That took part on the trip to hell and back "Christmas vacation" where nothing went right and I almost died twice over. But I'm sick of telling the whole thing, so I'll sum it up. Bad [censored] happened.

I'm sure there's been other times, but hey that will do for now. I get my adventuring our all in a long go. Some people do little things here or there, but adventurous things for me seem to last a long time and end horribly.

Well there was that time I ate an ounce of funny mushrooms I picked... but I don't think that story is appropriate for the forums.
