Mine shift between grey-green, olive and gold. I have no idea why.

Dark brown. They look almost black (hard to see my pupils) unless there's tons of light shining in my face.

Damn LadyC I still fantasize your eyes are like rubies hit by the sun.
Glorious red, shining and beaming. Making lesser mortals fall to their knees in adoration.

Mine change based on my mood, basic day blue, grey with gold corona around the pupil.
Others green, deep blue, brown.. Ohh once pink.

a very dark, cobaltish blue. I have a very small eye so it's hard to see what the actual color is, but it's very dar and gradually grows to a medium, as I said, cobaltish blue.

Anyone else in your family have that color as well? That is a unique color!

no surprisingly, everyone else in the family has very pale blue, almost grey eyes. I'm the only one I know who has such a deep blue.

Blue is my favorite color, and I used to be so jealous of how brightly blue my brother, mother and father's eyes were and I had, what I thought at the time, was a piddley ass blue-black eye color.

now I love it, it's a very deep blue when you can look at my eye directly.

Not knowledgeable in genetics, but maybe the pale blue and grey mixed

Pale green, with dark green rings around the outer and inner edge of the iris.

Heh. Light blue/very dark defined outer ring, like many here. With a rather large pupil, most days - which I suspect is due to the lack of sleep, or something. Kind of weird-looking, and means I squeal like a mogwai in anything brighter than a lightbulb.

My nephews' eyes, now, are awesome. Very big, and this amazing dark bright blue.

My eyes are mixed, and awesome

Yellow in the center, green in the middle and then an outer ring of blue. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Humaniris.jpg, but not quite.
Oddly enough, that picture is almost exactly my own iris.

Maybe he was a soldier in afghanistan or something. You know there is a high possibilty to get blood in your eyes in fight.

Mine change between brown and hazel.

My friend's eyes can be light blue one day and completely green the next day, it's really freaky.

Well, my eyes are often bloodshot. Does that count?
In certain light/sun they do turn kind of a dark redwood color - brown with a lot of red undertones, or whatever. Maybe rubies covered in mud...
