The random events and quests in this games is one of my favorite parts and makes exploring great. Everytime I run around I find something new. I thought it would be interesting to list some of our favorite random events we encountered?

Yesterday I encountered several agents of Stendor who were fighting a Ancient Vampire, it was a pretty epic fight and on Master difficulty I pretty much got killed in 2 seconds when the vampire started to focus on me.
I also get attacked by the Black Brotherhood every now and then to try and assasinate me, still wondering who is behind it.

I witnessed a mammoth fend off a pack of five wolves, it was awesome. The wolves kept on nipping at his feet but he'd just smack them with his trunk and send them flying.

I always like killing the couple that goes to the wedding.

Not sure if it was a random encounted or just a coincedence, but i was walking down a narrow path when i saw a group of bandits (around 6 or 7) get owned by a giant. I just sat back and laughed. lol

I have made three Characters mage. 2h warrior and archer all to lvl 30 and the experience and development has been very different for each one with random events and choice's making each one fun to play. The Skyrim world is amazing with the Dragons and roaming bands of Bandits and Assassins and surprise's round every corner.

I watched a wolf take on a dragon.

There can be some strange and funny events when I stole the horse Frost I let the horse trader have the horse but followed him to see what happened. Soon a fox started attacking him with a strange green aura the trader ran away from it and the fearless Frost attacked. In his attempt to escape he ran into two Spriggan which where the source of the green aura on the fox. I followed but did not attack the trader tried to run away and frost came charging in, at this point I also got involved and killed the two Spriggan. At some point the horse trader had hit Frost who now pursued him with a vengeance and further into the woods he ran. A violent assault ensued with Frost kicking the shizer out of him. He made a another attempt to escape running farther into the woods until he met a pair of trolls who also persued him and onwards he ran he next encounters was a pair of trappers and onwards he ran running out of woods onto the steep slope on a mountain. Where he meets a stray Stormcloak soldier and they all came together in a huge battle with every mob attacking each other which Frost won with the battered but immortal horse trader still running away with frost in pursuit.

I was robbing a house and I encountered another thief inside who was also robbing the house.

I had a farmer leading a cow to a giant camp to offer it as a peace offering. The cow was even painted to show the giants that it was a peace offering. I watched him walk to the camp, the giants gladly took the cow, and then killed the farmer.

I also came across two sabre-cats recently, only about level 10, so they were beating on me pretty hard, suddenly a mammoth comes from nowhere and kills both in a few hit. He was passive even when I got close and there were no giants or other mammoths around.

I got into a fight with a guy who was pretending to be an Imperial guard on top of this mountain, then mid fight a dragon sweeps down and kills him in one hit, then comes after me...if it wasn't for health potions I would have died

Not sure if it's an event per se, but I've seen a mammoth fall from the sky twice now :ahhh:

I noticed a dead deer by the road and stopped by to check if it's predator is still somewhere close. While I was trying to examine the body, a giant shadow "flew" over me - a dragon of course, but it didn't fight me, but merely flew in circles and then flew away.I also didn't attack it of course.

I saw a Giant Frostbite Spider get sent to Spider Sovngarde by a giants club, which was quite fun to watch, then the giants pet came and killed me.

Two guards fighting to the death over a Dwarven Bow I dropped from my inventory.

The spawning thieves in Riften. Oh no, wait...

Talking to a noble on the road, I can't recall where he said he was going. Anyway, literally moments after I stopped talking to him a dragon swooped down, landed, grabbed the poor noble in his mouth and threw him into the river. The noble's body guard fought for awhile before being roasted, after which I politely stepped in to finish and loot the dragon.

Not a random event per-se, but at Heartwood Mill or whatever near Riften, a troll was stalking the wood and kept murdering the mother in front of the child. It was horrible D:

Not sure if it was random but it was the first time I saw it; fighting a dragon down by Riften; had beaten him down pretty good; he took flight; circling..and then crashed...sliding toward me; i scramble out of the way thinking he's dead; he gets up and breaths frost on me; finally finished him off. Truly awesome when he crashed...even more so when he was still kicking.

I have not come across anything interesting in my week of constant playing.

Random Event: Watching a heard of Horkers take down a Dragon.

I also got attacked by 3 Thalmar Justicars yesterday, they were so tough! I had to scale down the difficulty level from Master to Adept. They had a note on them saying that I was interfering with their plans and they needed me dead.

I also found the witch camp earlier and after I had called 4 hags and 1 hagraven (really tough btw) I found that in theire camp there were several of dead bandits a few dead animals and a dead springon laying around randomly. I guess I wasn't the first to walk in to their camp.

I also had this husband and wife going to a wedding event and they had a bodyguard with them. I let them live but not a few seconds later I heard fighting and all 3 of them got killed by a troll. Yep skyrim is Dangerous place!

I had so many different events, I am trying to remember it but it's hard. I also got approached once by hunter who got bitten by a vampire.

for some reason i encountered about 20 mudcrabs fighting a giant.

2 wolves chasing down an elk, than 2 hunters joining in the chase, it was fun to watch

Last night when I was playing, I got stopped by one of those random thieves that try to rob you. Well, I always just cancel out if my intimidate doesn't work, so I ended dialogue, she pulls out her weapons and then... A dragon swoops by and snatches her off her feet, tossing her lifeless body a few hundred yards away.
