Your first weapon/armor of choice? : Fallout: New Vegas

I want a large brown coat covered with pockets, so as to look like a proper scavenger, (maybe like the Keith Thompson image of a wasteland scavenger)

For weapons, Varmint rifle, a revolver, and my sturdy caravan shotgun. This could all change by the time ive played through the game though.

Unarmed: Brass Knuckles
Armor: Whatever the Powder Gang boss is wearing

Back-Up: Grenade Rifle
Sidearm: Grenade Pistol (If it's in game, if not I'll mod one.)
CQC Weapon: Ballistic Fist.
Other: Grenades.
Ammo: Multiple variants of 25mm and 40mm grenades.

ok, so I have seen a few vids and interviews about the game but as I made a decision a while
back not to find out any real detail about it, (and its killing me - man i want to know :banghead: )

I have absolutely no idea what the weapons are other than the basics of what i can guess, but
if I base it on Fallout 3, then I would say, (if the option is there),

Pistol: SMG *
Rifle: Early on: Hunting Rifle then later: Assult *
Heavy: none
Melee: none

Armor: early on: leather/raider, then later: Combat

* with sound & flash muzzle with scope
