Your in-game enemies and why?

Post » Mon Jun 11, 2012 3:34 pm

So whom do you hate in game? This can be specific peoples or broad targets, but I'd like to know your enemies and the reasoning behind them. I'll start off with my own:

Necromancers: While the Undead are at most times unwilling slaves whom need saving, the Necromancers are not only defying Arkay's will, but enslaving the poor souls of the long departed to do their bidding. This cruelty is an affront to the living that my character cannot ignore.

Most Daedra: The princes like Molag Bal, Mehrunes Dagon, Vaermina and the like cause far too much suffering to the mortal world

The Thalmor: My reasons go beyond political motivations. Empires rise and fall, that is inevitable. They have declared war on Talos though, and that blasphemy will not go unatoned

So there you have it, my enemies are based on religious and humane grounds, what are yours?

Thorom has a few:

Undead. Unnatural and most of the time openly hostile to the living.

Daedra. They rarely have benevolent reasons for meddling in the affairs of mortals. Daedric princes like Meridia and Azura are okay in his book.

Thalmor. Their longterm plans does not sitt well with Thorom.

What are the rules for whom anyway? I'd use it if I knew, as using whom is awesome.

Anyway, on topic. I don't really know. My characters vary so greatly that I do not have any universal enemy for them all.
Personally, all those mean ones would've been bad if they were real.

All mages. I make it my business to hunt them all down and cut off their heads.
Why? They spam spam spam and keep spamming.

Who does the action, whom recieves the action. It is like the difference between I and me. In OP's case, you are doing the hating, and whom is recieving the hating.

So whom is the object of the sentence?
Cool, will remember that.

Wait, what? Am I hating?

Frodnar, one of the kids in Riverwood has been an adversary of mine ever since I first crossed him. ''You're new around here, so I'll go easy on ya'' is one of his many quotes that pisses me off real bad, and the fact that I can't just kill the little [censored] makes things worse. Instead I decided to kill his dog while he was asleep, after which I killed his parents while he stood there looking. Watching him run around the house, screaming ''Leave me alone! Get away from me!'' while I was still standing over his freshly-killed parents is one of the most satisfying things I have done in Skyrim so far.

I'm not naturally cruel or anything, but this kid had it coming. I'm still trying to come up with the most original way to kill Nazeem, maybe I'll just chop of his head in the marketplace and Fus Ro Dah is head up to his precious Cloud District.

Einar Vunjulf has one priority over all the rest: The eradication of the Mudcrabs.

Yes, you and every NPC in Skyrim is laughing at him now. But that is because you do not know of the dangers and monstrous genocide that these cynical creatures are capable of. There will be a time where Tamriel is in great strife and severly weakened. The foul Mudcrab Overlords will take this to their advanatge and carry out a great genocide against all the humanoid races of Tamriel for the millenias(spelling and plural?) of subjegation that their kind has endured. These wars between the men and mer are pointless, they should be uniting to face a far greater threat. As the moons pass, in the ocean between Tamriel and Akavir, the Mudcrabs are training, planning, lurking. Day by day, their armies grow by millions.

Depends on which character I'm currenlty RPing. Trying to do an Imperial Paladin now so for her it's Stormcloaks, the undead, and Daedra.

Was thinking of a ranger too whose enemy is trolls, and a Dunmer assassin who is pretty much anti-everything.
