Your Guilty My Little Ponies

What is that one game that you know is beyond terrible, but you simply can't resist playing? For me, it would actually be a tie between 3 games: http://www.dukenukem.com/full/us/#, http://xbox360.ign.com/articles/102/1023048p1.html, and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sneak_King. All really bad games but I can't help but love them.

I love Duke Nukem Forever. Everyone has their own opinions, and I for one like Duke Nukem Forever.

Summon Night: Swordcraft Story. I don't care what anybody ever says about how cliche the story is, I adore every bit of it and will play it again and again.

Also sometimes I take two http://pleasedontslowmedown.files.wordpress.com/2011/12/plainchochobnobs1.jpg and turn them chocolate side inwards with a marshmallow between. I then microwave it for a few seconds before stuffing my face like an animal.

As far as games go, I'd have to say Unreal Tournament 3. It's pretty bad but I still think its awesomely fun, even against bots.

http://www.dukenukem.com/full/us/#,

DNF is now even better with the "The Doctor Who Cloned Me" add on.

As for my Gulty Pleasures...I collect My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic figures :shifty:.

Oh, that's easy: Final Fantasy X-2. I love that game. Terrible plot, but I love everything else.

So you would suggest it? I decided that tomorrow I was going to replay the campaign, but I didn't know if the DLC was any good.

Call of Duty (any of them).

In fact, I'm not sure i'd even call it a guilty pleasure. On the right system (PC), on the right server, with the right people, playing the right gamemode (hardcoe/realism), Call of Duty games aren't bad at all. They can require a lot of thought and skill to play, if you want them to... which is contrary to the idea people have of the games being a casual run around and kill stuff affair, that a monkey could master.

Yeah I recommend it, The new downloadable campaign is only $9.99 and gives you more time to enjoy the Dukester plus I didn't see anything wrong with the DLC (like glitches and junk) and it played well. If you do get it you can access it by Extras menu at the main title screen. Oh and FYI you get a partner on some levels, they don't die or at least I don't think they do, I never had it happen...but other then that if you like the game I deffently give the DLC a go.

Touching myself whilst sacrificing a child unto Cthulhu and watching home cooking shows.

I personally enjoy it, but have heard others complain about it, but I enjoy the game Naughty Bear. It's so unique IMO.

Ok, thanks. I might pick it up sometime.

Can't think of any games that fit that bill for me. Closest might be Ultima9....or maybe....on the old NES, there was this scrolling shooter game called http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LL0eGTjv1_g I have no idea if for the time it would be considered at least passable, but I thought it was corny/horrible. Yet hubs & played it quite a bit for a little while because it had some level of mindless addictiveness to it.

Damn. Before I realised this was about games I was going to say gin and kitties. Oh well.

Games wise it's probably DA2. I loves it. :)

I don't have any guilty pleasure games. If I play a game, I play it because it's enjoyable on some level. I don't apologise for enjoying things.

If I had to pick something, though... I guess Kingdom Hearts comes closest to being a guilty pleasure. It's something I've played when I've wanted to zone out.

Maybe some people might consider hidden object games a guilty pleasure? The gf enjoys them periodically, and I'll join in every now and then. It becomes a bit of a competition as to who can spot the stuff first. :)

I dont feel guilty about the games I play.

However since I saw it in another thread. I have watched 2 episodes of an anime, with a angel murdering this guy constantly, and am enjoying it.
Only BGSF will know of this.

Fable II is another.

On the one hand, I think it's [censored]. A poor excuse for an action RPG with so much wasted potential. But at the same time, I enjoy it a lot.
