Your High King

Okay, so people all have differing opinions over who should be High King. State your opinions here; feel free to debate, but don't make it personal and keep it respectful.
I think, if anyone has right to be High King, it's Balgruuf. I think HE should have gotten the place, not Ulfric or, as nice as she is, Elisif. Elisif is simply too inexperienced in ruling and too nice to do it, and Ulfric is too selfish and selfcentered. Balgruuf cares more for his people than playing political games, more than himself, and more than his pride. That's a true High King, I say. Ulfric talks about having trained in the Thu'um, but he only knows one word of one shout. He isn't exactly the pro on the subject.
I don't like General Tullius either. I sympathize with the Stormcloaks, but not their leader. The movement is honest, but Ulfric is manipulating them to take the throne. That much is obvious.
Though I don't blame him for killing Torygg. He did it the honorable and old fashioned way, and everyone calls him a murderer. They even executed someone for opening the damn door for him.
What Torygg did was cowardly. They even said themselves, if they'd known that Ulfric was going to challenge him, Ulfric would never have made it into the Solitude gates. But I still think Ulfric is selfish and prideful.
So, tl;dr, I think Balgruuf should come out as High King, regardless of what side wins in canon-lore. I could see the Moot making him High King even if it's the Stormcloaks, since he owns the arguably most important city, and I see no one else the Empire would make High King.
Personally, I think canon-lore will dictate that the Empire won, but they might overshadow it with something else. For instance, another attack by the Aldmeri Dominion, so they can just make it seem like the outcome meant nothing and the Empire picked up the pieces of Skyrim afterward, regardless of who won.
