Your most embarassing memory?

Post » Sun May 13, 2012 5:42 pm

Hmm, well I don't think I have had any extremely embarrassing moments. I do have this one however...

I was at work, laptop is taken apart on my desk(I work for Geeksquad), coworker to my left lowers my chair on me while I am sitting in it, normal office prank har har. Well while my chair is lower I can't reach the part I need sitting on a shelf at my desk. [censored] me tries to kinda of stand at a squat with my feet balanced on the legs of the chair where the wheels extend of from....

...almost grab part and chair flies out from under me, I slam my face on the desk, end up on the floor and the laptop I was working on finds its way from my desk to my face.

When I was 16, my most embarrassing memory was I didn't go through with that myself.

Now that I'm 22, my most embarrassing memory would have been if I did go through with that myself.

A long talk with a chair after a bit too much of vodka (ALL THE VODKA).

In my defense, it did have a shirt thrown over it. It was fun being told of my antics the next day.

If any of the above happened to me - or involved me - I would have just laughed it off. Things don't tend to really bother me too much and once it happens, what else can you do but laugh? Gotta laugh at yourself or life will drive you crazy.

But I do remember a time in high school that made me hate life for a while. A really big jerk ran by me at lunch and literally ripped my skirt off me in the middle of lunch. He thought it was hilarious ... I cried for a week.

Plenty of things, that i'm sure no one but me remembers. But as a movie once told me, or was it an episode of The Simpsons? "May all your humiliations be private"

Pretty much the way I feel about things. You need to be an easygoing person, or life will really drag you down.

What did you talk about?

First, the movie that was on. Afterwards, my getting angry at being ignored. :hehe:

I've had a good few 'next mornings' where I've woken up, seen my phone/facebook and said "FML" but that's alcohol for you.

Story of my life. This is why I drink alone

Well.. That and because I don't have friends anyway :whistling:

Oh, how did I forget, a couple of weeks ago I got very drunk on a night out and accidentally went into the girl's toilets. The signs weren't at eye-level and it was an unfamiliar pub, so it was only when I got in that I realised.

I remember doing this once too.. I vaguely remember laughter and wondering afterwards why there was no urinals.

Luckily I managed to wash my hands and run out before anyone noticed. It was a very close call though :P

I remember when I was 13 and I went on a date with this girl, the date went fine, but seeing as she was a 13 year old girl, she suddenly decided she didn't want to go out with me. I was distraught and in my dismay I accidentally texted a very long winded, abusive message about her to a friend....or so I thought. I accidentally text it to her! There was a lot swearing and general trashing of her character too.

That was awkward the next day!

It was awkward because it turns out she likes being verbally abused, huh? :spotted owl:

Often times I recall a lot of stupid things I've done, and just there, figuring out how I could obtain a time machine so I could go back and kick myself in the stupid face.

Trying to defend myself from a bully and being Tombstoned as a result. Not the most pleasant memory of my life I can promise you that. :nope:

not my most embarassing memory, infact i find it to be hilarious, but too other people i suppose it would be dreadful.

one day at work with one of my male co-workers, we worked in retail and were in the center of the sales floor, when we made eye contact i conspiciously looked both ways to see if any one was paying attention. i did this for dramatic affect because i was about to say something incredibly stupid and hilarious.

i then said to him, "can you show me how to duggie"
his response was: "Excuse me!"
me: "you weren't expecting that were you?" i began to laugh
him: "no, i wasn't. did you say what i think you just said, because if you did i think im going to file a sixual harrasment"
me: "what?"
him: "you just asked me to show you how to doggie"

I don't think I would have spoke to that guy again, if he was going to press for those charges - unless it was in a joking manner.
But lol :P

In 1st year Art class I pulled a boys chair away as he went to sit down, everyone laughed and the teacher took me into the corridor for a shouting contest... When I went to return to my seat, I missed it completely. No one moved it or anything, I just missed it by a mile and everyone laughed. I think I trolled myself.

There was my Art project in 6th year and I decided to use still life images of people, because this was an Advanced Higher project it had to stand out and be rather bold to score the marks to pass, so my teacher suggested doing drawings of nvde or at least semi nvde people. I agreed to this, thinking it would just be images from magazines or off the internet. Nope it was actual people, my face went red, then the girl I fancied for the whole year offered to help...my face when completely red, then there was the time I was painting her...yeah I got one and she clearly saw it and decided to comment  On the upside I got a relationship out of it all :D

Secondary school, so I was 17 at the time.
Education system is rather different here - Primary school for 7 years, which get called p1, p2 etc and then Secondary school which gets called by year 1st year 2nd year etc. College/Uni are the same, but in this case I was referring to Secondary school.

- By the time of 5th and 6th year all the immature people have left the cool, since they can leave after they're 16, so those left are usually a mature and smart bunch. My year was rather mature for our age, well during school anyway, so our teachers trusted us a lot more and expected us to be responsible, especially with mature things like that. Being mature doesn't make it any less awkward though :P
