Your Opinion on C2 Soundtrack

simply very amazing.

I am big fan of Halo because the soundtrack they made is awesome.

Crytek made excellent soundtrack for Crysis 2. I say it was more evoking that first game :D

Not bashing here although It's not quite as on par with Halos soundtrack although its alot better than the majority of modern FPS's electronic technoish music.

I do really like the music in Crysis 2. It adds to the atmosphere quite a bit. Feeling alone but motivated to squash every Ceph in New York. I normally don't favor one sound track over another, though I have to say the most incredible music I've ever heard in a game was Oscar Aroujo's score in Castlevania: Lords of Shadow. Halo has quality music as well but you also get rare gems like Lost Odyssey, Enslaved, Mass Effect, Elders Scroll: Oblivion and hell, even Afro Samurai. Crysis 2 is another fine addition to my collection of bad-assary.

This game is equivalent for me with the Halo soundtracks, Crysis 2 has great music that matches the tone of the situation.
Another great soundtrack was Fable:Lost Chapters great epicness.

All of these almost compare to ElderScrollsIII:Morrowind's gameplay....

Halo soundtrack may be top, definitely one of the best ever in video game history, but Crytek has deliver one awesome action pack story of a lone wolf supersoldier.

Come on, Hans Zimmer made Crysis 2 Theme which is perfect and sounds more spectacular from Crysis 1 theme which was made by Inon Zur.

Any game needs good soundtrack which gives you the feel of epicness at spur of the moment, otherwise it like a spark that fades away and forgotten.

I love listening to quite a few game OST's.

My favourites are Red Dead Redemption, Crysis 2, MW2 (mind, only the OST) and also any Battlefield game. It's a shame not too many people bother to even notice the music in games. All they care about is the constant action but not the background music that helps the game flow well and give it an epic touch.

I completely agree with the positive things said about the soundtrack in this topic. I think the impact of music in a game can be near that of great graphics; a memorable theme, the right ambience and atmosphere, etc. Hanz Zimmer's transition into video game OSTs is proving to be just as good as his movie osts.

For those that might not know btw, he did mw2's soundtrack.

I wish more people were at least praising the music for this game, especially in PC... but it's buried in tears about gfx if it's there :P

I found the musical score to be brilliant, it aides the immersion into the gameplay and story progression so much.

I have to agree with Rohan (for once) Red Dead had a great sound track, pretty unique, modern rock-a-billy band that still sounds as though it fits the game and story perfectly, rockstar generally have great music, Bully was brilliant. Loved Bioshock's (1+2) music and sound effects, and that game certainly has the best Dialogue hands down.

How could I forget to add the soundtrack for Tranformers: WFC. The music in that game is HOW to do a Techno-Rock soundtrack - fits the game so well it hurts. Best Sci-Fi soundtrack ever.

Hehe, it's not really OST but you've gotta love any GTA's radio stations. I sometimes just sit minutes at a time sitting around listening to the hilarious talk shows and random rants and even the commercials :D

Also, the main theme by Michael Hunter labeled "Soviet Connection" was epic.

Dude I love Transformers WFC game itself and soundtrack, it was total action pack fun game, too bad not many people play it, because it was too easy to level up and promotion of the game was not enough to keep the hype going :(,

I wander, what if you use CryEngine3 to make Transformers game, it will look like movies :D :D

Transformers WFC is an absolutely epic game, the multiplayer was very unique and reminded me of shadowrun except giant robots which to me was like six in a bowl of cream.

Megatron will forever and always be my favourite fictional character from the Raspy 80s to the Yesssssss From Beast Wars he is a legend and makes me want to go into voice acting.

For those that missed the epic decepticon soundtrack ;)
