Your tactics in defeating the Ebony Warrior. : V

I personally have never created a level 81 jack of all trades type character and certainly never will. Unfortunately for me this means I will never meet the Ebony Warrior. From what I hear he is extremely hard to defeat and I would be interested to know how you guys approached him, what weapons/magic you used and what difficulty you engaged him on.

Unrelenting force,hack...Repeat until dead.(I did this)
or
You could do what a friend of mine did..She used alchemy to get one of those superstrong marksman potions and basically did a two hit kill on him with a daedric bow and arrows.

Sword & board,unrelenting force,dragon aspect and stood toe to toe with the gronk on master difficulty :starwars:

It took me 6 tries, and 3/4 of a day to bring him down :bonk:

But after I felt like such a bad ass :cool:

If I may suggest to you OP, you have the option of using the Oghma Infinium to boost your levels. You can therefore get to 80 in no time.

I have yet to defeat this worthy opponent. My first two attempts failed miserably when he simply Fus Ro Dah'd me off the cliff, which ended in my demise quite quickly. I was using Dragon Aspect, as well as Auriel's Shield to super shield block him. If I don't get distracted by Halo tonight though, I shall be trying my luck yet again against this Redguard.

Something you can block with, IMO one handed and shield options are the best... his magic damage is NOTHING compared to his melee damage, I ended up abandoning my use of a ward and kept healing myself instead. Also he seems to favour frost damage so if you are a nord/have enchantments his magic is very... meh.

I just run at him and start wailing on him. I'm more of an "offense is a good defense" type of guy and I usually have him dead before he managed to finish off my health. Gets close, though.

The problem is that he reflects damage. That would seemingly include Unrelenting Force. I've shot him off of mountains in the past, started running towards him, and would fall dead on flat terrain as he's still getting up. Cheater. :angry:

1.Use the fortify restoration glitch with amulet of talos
2.summon Durnehviir and Odahviing
3.Use storm call and dragon aspect.
