Your thoughts on this Class Setup?

Hello I have been trying to find the right mage archer that would fit my tastes and i think i found the perfect one:

Race: Breton

Primary Skill: Archery
Secondary: Destruction and Alchemy

I believe it will work well because they have good synergy working together such as a placed fire rune and baiting a target to run into it while poisoned with weakness to fire. Alchemy would also benefit survivability and if the enemy gets close or swarms it can blast them with any magicka left.

Share your thoughts, should i choose another race? Have you had experience with a similar setup? Any suggestions and thoughts are appreciated.

Sounds like fun. Combat archer using runes, cloak spell, and a bow enchanted with elemental damage all boosted by the “Augmented” Destruction perks. An atronach would be the perfect companion, since followers don't like cloaks.

A Dunmer would start off with a fire cloak and bonus to Destruction, while a Bosmer gets a nice Archery bonus. But Bretons are cute. I’d go for the Breton. Pint-sized Dovahkiin Elemental Archer.
