[REQ] J'zargo's exploding scrolls.

Post » Sat May 19, 2012 1:35 am

So, I was thinking to myself earlier that it would be the funniest thing ever if J'zargo actually sold some of those scrolls that weren't quest bound. Reason being? Reverse-pickpocketing, of course! You'd slap them into the pockets of a mage, and following combat hilarity is sure to ensue. And I can't imagine that getting old any time soon for sneaky characters. It would add another dimension to sneaking, that's for sure.

Sure, I could just spawn them via the console, but it would be even funnier if it were legit.

"Say, J'zargo, do you have any of those exploding scrolls left... ?"

I'd do this myself, one of many things I want to do, but the CK isn't out yet. I'm used to using the GECK and the past sets, but the current method of modding is a bit brain-bending to me, and I don't have the time to get into learning entirely new things which would likely result in stress headaches. So, if anyone wants to beat me to the punch before the CK comes out, then feel free.

Though I realise that this may be a bit of a nightmare before the CK comes along, having to add a vendor chest for J'zargo and everything.

Okay, I definitely want to this to happen. If I remember when the CK comes out I can easily make it happen as well.

Those things are actually really practical if used in conjunction with a ward.

Cast Scroll ---> Cast Ward ---> Find Enemy :bomb_ie:

It could be tied in with the Pick pocket perk where if you revers a poison the person takes health damage I made a super poison, and used in in the brotherhood he drooped like a stone maybe youd have to make it delayed or youd get cought in the blast to :(

I have had the AI randomly use things I've reverse-pickpocketed onto them! I haven't tried scrolls yet, but one used a bow and arrows that I reverse-pickpocketed, which was amusing. It was someone that I had to protect on a quest.

I just figured that reverse-pickpocketing other things would work the same way?
