I walk out of the Hall of the Elements with J'zargo by my side, and suddenly

WILD ELDER DRAGON APPEARS!

GO! ARCHMAGE!
GO! J'ZARGO!

ELDER DRAGON used BLARRGGHH!

It's not very effective...

ARCHMAGE used LIGHTNING STORM!

Critical hit!

J'ZARGO got in the way!

It's super effective!

J'ZARGO has been reduced to a smoldering pile of ash...

ELDER DRAGON FAINTED!

And then I was sad

NOoooooooooooooooo OMG bad memories are surfacing... I lost J'zargo in a dark corridor in Alftand. We were ambushed by Falmer Nightstalker and a Shadowmaster. In the confusion, I must have accidentally killed J'zargo. I continued on, thinking he maybe stuck in another room. I waited for a few hours and my heart sank, because there was no sign of him.

I went back to the surface, got my husband Vorstag and together we retraced my steps. Sure enough, we found poor, poor J'zargo's body. I was so sad and couldn't deal with the fact he was dead, so I just used the console and rezzed him LOL

Lightning Storm is inferior to the Expert spell to kill quickly. Unless you aim for a dragon far far away in which case J'Zargo shouldn't have been hit

In the case that he was actually permanently dead like that, I think I would have kept it that way. The way I see it, once you're passed being able to rectify your mistakes with autosaves, you ought be beyond saving. But that's just me.

Last I checked, 112 points of damage per second at 25 points of magicka to cast per second is far superior to 90 damage for 64 magicka, even when dual cast; it could do far more damage in a short time for less magicka.

Besides which, this isn't a thread about damage calculation, so don't you dare derail it.

Sorry for your loss. I didn't think much of J'Zargo (JZ from now on. The greatest Khajit Rapper alive) until I realized he was a mage rocking @!#!@#!@# heavy armor! How bad ass is that? He finally croaked in a dungeon and I just did not want to reload from a previous save... Maybe on another playthrough... Lydia also croaked on me. UGH. As I am playing on the Xbox 360 I cannot bring up a console to bring them back ...

Yep, that's certainly true about pigs. But I'd like to see where in the lore it's revealed about Khajiit.

If they are like real cats I think they have barbs on the [censored] that keep it locked in the females [censored] so the male can finish intercourse without the female being able to easily run away.
