Very much similarly to what i have been explaining to mainstreamers and noobs who think Bethesda Softworks (publish label) controls id software.

ID Software is very much operating independently as is Bethesda Game Studio.

Zenimax manages financials and other administrational stuff, they don't dictate how to make games or how much to spend for a game.

"Bethesda said .." this and that ... is only what the developers SAID to the internal publishing branch, and the community managers are just forwarding that, the Publishing doesn't really have any power to decide anything only influence from monitored feedback and research.

Am I in the wrong for saying you have to take what he says with a grain of salt?

Lots of people should know why I say that..

Carmack has an agreement ... it's all under contract.

He wouldn't sell ID Software if Zenimax wouldn't agree to his terms and wishes (rockets, open source, research projects, ... etc)

I don't see grain of salt anywhere except on the delaware-biden thing. But every joke has it's truth, maybe the crowd taken it as a joke, but i already know that us government is run by zionists and puppet murder mafia along with hollywood, news corp, music industry and bankers as well as bilderberg, rothschilds, 332 and bohemian grove ..etc ... old news.

Zenimax is a private company, unlike EA and Activision. They shouldn't have any external influence, or much much less.

If you have more valuable information why the heck don't you say it ?

And the reason "Bethesda Softworks" is used as a publishing labels is just because of the popularity and brand recognition, it's a name ..a text , it doesn't describe anything of what bethesda orginally was as the developer.

It's called brand exploitation, which in turn makes customer confusion(noobs), they could have made up a new publishing brand and logo for all zenimax published games, but why not use the already hugely known name to your advantage. Purely a business decision.
