A challenge for all of you: Get into a dark room, home/apartment alone at night and try to explore around Zion Valley after you come back after completing the DLC without being creeped the efffff out.

No radio to keep you company, no characters to really talk to, nothing in particular to do, just you and the peculiar rock paintings of the tribals. Oh yeah, and the unresponsive Dead Horses aimlessly crouch walking around the river alone. I was messing around in one of the caves once, I SWEAR I saw a bright figure just walking around one of the Survivalist's forts.

For those of you who read the FO3 number station creepypasta about the Numbers Station with Three-Dog, there is a huge potential for creepypasta with Zion. Like, with the UHF signal that gets stuck in your radio after Dead Money (and is unresponsive afterwards) actually activates in parts of Zion, and then it has X person saying creepy thing Y, etc.

Anybody else notice the almost excessive creepiness of post-DLC Zion?

What do you mean no characters to really talk to.. I finished and only Daniel and Joshua and that Native guy you met in the beginning left...

Needless to say but yes Zion is creepy. Hell I actually think it is creepier than Dead Money. There is something about walking in the middle of nowhere with eerie noises in the background, in a forest, completely away from civilization (no one can hear your screams), while the rain falls silently and the atmosphere is gloomy and dark with no sign of life aside from things that want to eat you. It did not help matters that I kept getting lost (refuse to use fast travel while in zion). Zion is creepy. Nowhere near as bad as the dunwhich building though.

You realize creepypasta is usually 100% made up stuff right? If you kill Threedog his broadcasts just keep playing. There is no Margaret or number stations.

Ummmm whenever I kill threedog i do get a female replacement that sounds like agitha, that's always who I thought it was. The number stations and creepypasta may be bs but his replacement isn't. And I regretted killing him, god she's so much more annoying than him. but anyway on topic yeah Zion is pretty creepy once the mainquest is over, I wish the npc's didn't vanish.

Knew I wasn't crazy, if I was to be the only person expieriencing a Margret I'd start to panic lol. Just remember that Margret really is the antichrist and is attempting to destroy us all through her boring radio skills. So be glad you've never heard her because honestly she's worse than Threedog, of course neither of them is as bad as mr. new vegas. It's not that he's annoying it's just that his voice is SOOOOOOOOOO loud compared to the music that I almost go deaf when he talks. And now i'm rambling and off topic. Well bottom line is Zion is creepy post main quest just like point lookout was.

I know what you mean about Mr. New Vegas...half the time I don't even listen to the radio, it's either loud mouth or the mutant...both of them scare my little brother :banghead: who intently listens to the lovely music

Lol it would be nice if it was just the music but being interupted for them to blast me with their loud nonsensical pvssyr ruins the radio for me. I miss agitha's station from fallout 3....so mellow. :sadvaultboy:

http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Mojave_Music_Radio could serve all your non mutant, non loudmouth computer guy non scaring the little brother needs! Plays Tabitha's playlist without any talk news or Dumb Dumb rants, though to be honest i kinda like her station and am sad when I lose it....

Zion creeps me out a little for the fact there is no radio, well except Elijah's station from Dead Money.... listening to that while running around there is very odd.

There should have been an option to tell Follows-Chalk to become the Zion National Park DJ.... there were enough ranger stations with radios to set up in I'm sure.

Follows-Chalk didn't even know what a singer was, I'm sure he'd have a hard time being a DJ. "What is this... Mik-rah-fone? -taps- Heellooo??" :lmao:

For some reason, Feral Ghouls find it necessary to scream before attacking me, which always scares the [censored] out of me. Dunwich and Vault 34 kept me on edge.
