True, travel would be a bad idea. I didn't think about that part. I'd still vote for Costco though because It's more secure and there's more food to survive longer. Plus, the Costco here is in the middle of nowhere, while the Walmarts are in a more populated area.

My point is it's easier to find some where that has food then some where that has ammo,and if you're against a bunch of zombies you're better off with ammo then a bunch of food-you can get by for a long time off the things in a common town.

And while Walmart generally being in an active area may mean more zombies,it also means more places near you that would have food,possibly even close enough that you could go back to your hiding spot on the roof,Walmart just seems like the best option no matter how I look at it.

You wouldn't die from hunger looking for food,unless a lot of others survived and had taken the food.

And then you definitely need to be in Walmart because there's no way you can arm more then a couple people without a gun store type place,also it isn't as important but Walmart has clothes and such so when it gets to be winter time you can survive on the roof easier.

You can survive at least a month without food. You most likely won't survive more than a few days without weapons. I pick weapons.

Yup, Walmart is great but what if you're alone? What if you're low on ammo? How can you kill +50 Horde of zombies? Give them food perhaps?!

If there are 50+ zombies between you and food I doubt it matters,honestly.

Walmart has tons of bullets in stock..there you should NEVER be low on ammo,because you can easily restock before you get in range of having to worry about your ammo.

The answer is-alone you can't survive forever against zombies unless you manage to wipe every one in the town/area out,don't guess that's too unrealistic though given a couple months..most are bound to wander near you being in such a common,large building.
