Umm, of course they exist. They're not dead and animated though, just people systematically paralyzed and conditioned through usage of pufferfish poison. From what I've heard from a Haitian-born friend, there are several hundred if not thousands in Haiti alone, which then does not count other caribbean islands where Vudun is practiced.

Not in the typical sense of a zombie but something very similar.

An axe is just as easy to carry as a Machete, don't get your point there.

Yes a crowbar would be more practical for carrying while also carrying a gun,but I'm assuming being set up on the roof of a Walmart, using the melee weapon as a tool and as a weapon when you're out of/low on ammo as a way to get to the ammo downstairs.

EDIT:I also own a few weapons,Downfall-I'm assuming a really long time here, too long to have enough ammo with you..I picked Walmart just because of the balance of resources around.

Travel would be dangerous, moving around multiple places when you need supplies wouldn't be practical after a while.

True, travel would be a bad idea. I didn't think about that part. I'd still vote for Costco though because It's more secure and there's more food to survive longer. Plus, the Costco here is in the middle of nowhere, while the Walmarts are in a more populated area.

I'll just stock up on ammo until the time comes :P

I'd say weapons are more important then food if they're aggressive,I think Walmart roof is the safest option..Walmart carries every thing man.

Food is useless if you're dead! Also "Walmart" and "Walmart *roof*" are two different answers.

What no other people to eat?

Sure sure you can eat the dead or pretend you are invincible to hunger...

and no it isn't two different answers... It is still part of the property. It would be like stating the second floor of anything is a different answer.

Another zombie spam thread.

Lots of things in Walmart that could last a while, regardless of where you pick you're going to have to move at some point.

Would you rather move with no ammo or gas,or would you rather move with no/low food?

I think the answer is obvious.

Either way you're dead. Now, do you prefere to be eaten alive or die from hunger?!

My point is it's easier to find some where that has food then some where that has ammo, and if you're against a bunch of zombies you're better off with ammo then a bunch of food-you can get by for a long time off the things in a common town.

And while Walmart generally being in an active area may mean more zombies,it also means more places near you that would have food, possibly even close enough that you could go back to your hiding spot on the roof,Walmart just seems like the best option no matter how I look at it.

You wouldn't die from hunger looking for food, unless a lot of others survived and had taken the food.

And then you definitely need to be in Walmart because there's no way you can arm more then a couple people without a gun store type place, also it isn't as important but Walmart has clothes and such so when it gets to be winter time you can survive on the roof easier.

You can survive at least a month without food. You most likely won't survive more than a few days without weapons. I pick weapons.

Yup, Walmart is great but what if you're alone? What if you're low on ammo? How can you kill +50 Horde of zombies? Give them food perhaps?!

If there are 50+ zombies between you and food I doubt it matters, honestly.

Walmart has tons of bullets in stock..there you should NEVER be low on ammo, because you can easily restock before you get in range of having to worry about your ammo.

The answer is-alone you can't survive forever against zombies unless you manage to wipe every one in the town/area out, don't guess that's too unrealistic though given a couple months..most are bound to wander near you being in such a common, large building.

That's a terrible plan.

Sea-you die from sickness and lack of food quickly.

Air-....gas,last I checked there aren't floating islands in the sky.

I'm off to take a nap, this thread has become pointless and is filled with pointless comments and trolling.

I sure hope the OP is trolling.....

Really? Flying is the best option IF you can't fly a plane? Nope, zombie won't actually destroy planes they just block them BUT they can still used, however fuel is still a problem!

A zombie flying in the plane ends that quick.

Maybe the keys for the fuel pump not found but maybe cheese can grow on the mold of the plane making gasoline...

Better chanince stuffinf the rancid meat from the Wal Mart on the propeller and making a zombie propelled plane.... Yes it might be possible to make a zombie powered plane since they can go on for months without feeding.
