ZOS is losing sales with P2P

I would of been ok with the sub if it wasn't for the fact they are doing a cash shop too, that's content being pulled out of the game from subscribers, its not worth it. They should of had the sub or a cash shop not both, for the love of god not both v_v

It does not seem like IGN is supporting the decision, even though they can understand why it's being done. A nice way of saying "you're [consored] ZOS" to me

How about Old Night's link a couple posts up? Look on any of the major gaming media sites as well and they all are very sceptical about this decision.

Actually Total Biscuit in his last content patch made a positive comment on this decision, with some explanation behind it. Weather you like him or not, lots of people trust him on gaming matters.

It's certainly put me off slightly, not entirely though. The cost of the console, PSN subscription, TESO subscription, really, I could wait a year or two, buy the console cheaper, there'll probably be a limited edition model or a new iteration, then get the back-catalogue of cheaper single player games. Something like Elder Scrolls VI will probably become £25 and last me years.

Strangely for me I think it's mostly because the subscription fee is £9 rather than, say, £4. Now, there's not much in that at all, but it's just enough to mean coupled with PSN I'd be paying a little over £10 a month, which I don't seem to quite like? £120 a year could buy me a whole lot of other games.

I can afford it, and TESO does look truly incredible. I'll probably still get it, but whereas before I was very excited and planning to play for years, I'm now not so excited and may just play for a few months.

So, we have one guy supporting it, VS a room full of IGN guys saying that it mostly is a bad idea. Correction, one of the 4 is on the fence. I think that is a similar demographic to who supports the p2p system. You guys are NOT the "Silent majority" here.

Very good example here of what most gamers are thinking right now, including myself. They had the chance to make a game that we were excited to play for years and years, and now it's turned into a distraction for a couple of months.
