....Ok hear me out.......I was like ~70 hours intro the game...before I set first step inside the Strip.........guess I'm not so special afterall...: D
I just did fully completed Goodsprings and Primm, said hi in Nipton, fully completed Novac, had some fun at Helios One, and, since I'd accidentally stumbled upon the duplicate-weapon-merchant-glitch from Fallout 3, waltzed right into the strip, maybe at about 18 hours of gameplay. Kind of breezed through that one, wanted to be done with hardcoe mode. Love the idea of dehydration and sleep, as well as continuous stimpack healing, but I don't like having to use 3 of the wasteland's rarest medical supplies after every firefight. I still hear the concussion sound in my sleep. <_<
Starting over again, now that doctor's bags actually do jack [censored] in casual mode, I'm going to try and take things more slowly. I'm actually exploring Freeside (and loving the places, but not the load times) and actually spent a few caps so I'd have to work to get into the strip. Just got in after doing some work for the Silver Rush (and selling 2 of their own plasma grenades back to them) and plan to take things a little more slowly now.
