I will definately look into these quests.
My main goal is to have more money that I can spend at level 1 without using a cheat/glitch/exploit
I am not opposed to quests that particularly give over 1000 gold and will likely seek them out now.
as far as weight there are means of increasing carrying amount and a follower is key!
Some of those quests won't be offered to you at all until you reach a certain level, and with some of them (the bounty quests given by the jarls come to mind) the amount of your payout is dependent on your level as well. As a level 1 character you may only get 100 gold for wiping out a Bandit nest; pick up that quest at an higher level, though, and your reward will be several times that.
My characters start out by looting almost everything they can stagger away with, but they quickly get pickier about what they take as their levels increase. By the time they've hit Level 10 or so, just about the only things they're taking are gold, gems, potions, soul gems, alchemy ingredients, smithing items and such. Of course, if they find a weapon or a robe or a piece of armor that's better than what they have they'll grab that, and any enchanted or unique items get grabbed as well. They usually have enough money to buy Breezehome after 4 or 5 hours in the game.
