I was just wondering, does Brink support 1080p like other games?

That depends, are you talking about the PC, 360 or PS3 version?

The PC version will handle it if your computer is powerful enough.

The console versions run in 720p like the vast majority of console games, although I'm not sure if the game will then be able to upscale it to 1080p, but that's a rather useless function to begin with as the game is still a 720p game at heart.

I've read in an interview that for consoles it is 720p.

Thanks for the help.
I know some select games do support 1080p.
It would be pretty cool to see Brink 1080p action.

That's not really proof. The main game is still running at 720p, it's just being upscaled to 1080p. Which is rather misleading, but a lot of games do that.

Then why don't they say the same thing for the ps3? which doesn't have 1080i

Upscaling is much less common on the PS3 for some reason. But the lack of upscaling on the PS3 doesn't really matter, cause as I said earlier, it's a misleading feature and makes people belive the game is rendered in 1080p when it's not. It's being rendered in 720p and then stretched out to 1080p. Quite a difference.

Correct. Microsoft engages in cheap tactics and Sony does not.
