150 hours played and 2 bugs so far.

That's it. I'm curious and annoyed with how people loves to complain on "How many bugs here! Damn skyrim to Oblivion! Arh"
Alright, Damn skyrim to oblivion was a litlle funny.

But who has played without beeing harassed by game-breaking killing-stabber bugs?
So far I found 2 bugs. One with the Companions quest and other with an Ancient Vampire sending me an Inheritance letter.

What can YOU say?

Me. I've seen four bugs, 151 hours

1) Dragon skeletons falling through the ground
2) Townspeople spinning in place slowly like ballet dancers when they speak to me (only one play session)
3) Dragon flying erratically, and backwards. Started with the first patch. Haven't seen it since latest patch
4) CTDs. Five times total. First time, on 11/12/11. I was ALT+TABing a lot and running another program. last four were between hours 130 and 140, four times. I think my PC was updating some software during that time.

No other issues. I have more trouble with my new install of MS Office at work, lol

70 hours. The only TRULY game-breaking bug that I have not been able to avoid or go around is the revealing the unseen quest from the college.

It's frustrating but with only 70 hours I'm sure I can find something else to do.

So glad finals are over now!

Ive only had 3 bugs so far and none of them game breaking. Im playing on Xbox360 and Im 75 hours in.

1. Had an arrow stuckin the pommel of my sword for about an hour before I figured out how to remove it.

2. Game froze once on a loading screen but had autosaved where I was so no game play lost.

3. Cant turn in the 'East Coast Trading Company Map' to Devlin.

I've played about 70 hours and have completed every Faction.
Only two bugs.
- Game freezes during a part of the DB quest line. You have to wait 24hours at a specific moment to by-pass the freeze.
- a few NPCs zooming/sliding weird (instead of walking)

And one little glitch.... some of the water textures disappear sometimes.

Other than that, seems to be no problems at all. (on Xbox)

Poltergeist items flying all over when I enter a room

Blood and Ice quest glitching after I purchased the Windhelm house

Lots of random CTD

*edit* Also, game freezes while enchanting if you use the mouse wheel (usually)

(still love the game)

About 100 hours on PC and so far, nothing game breaking (or that I couldn't fix by reloading/using the console.)

1.) Books "falling through" bookshelves after removing one book from a full shelf. (Reloaded the save from when I entered the house and took the book from the bookshelf's "inventory" instead of taking the book directly and didn't have the problem.)

2.) The guards didn't arrest me to start the "No One Escapes Cidhna Mine" quest. (Used the console to start the quest.)

3.) The cell doors were both locked and required a key when I first got to the Mine. (Used TCL in the console to walk through the gate, rest of quest unaffected.)

4.) Erandur vanished while doing the "Waking Nightmare" quest. (Had to load the last save I had from before we entered the tower. No problems after that.)

5.) Daedric weapons would just fall off weapon racks and plaques. I'd find them on the floor the next time I entered the house. (Not fixed, I just started keeping them in a cupboard instead.)

Possibly a few other little glitches and annoyances, but nothing utterly game breaking for me.

same happened here and i'm pissed because i'm using a mage...the many other bugs come with TES territory but the college quest killer had me wanting to choke someone at bethesda

do you play on xbox? im curious if this is a xbox/console only problem or are the PC users bypassing it with console commands

5 CTDs, 3 of those from using the alchemy table.

No other bug that couldn't be fixed by save/reload or restarting the game.

More than 200 hours and encountered like 4 gamebreaking bugs so far:

1) Alduin ressurecting a dragon. He flies away and the energy pillar stays there till the end of days, with no new dragon whatsoever.
2) After finishing the Companion questline, Farkas doesn't give any Radiant quests, thus makes curing him out of Lycantrophy impossible (new quest that should kick in after doing a few jobs for him).
3) Mjoll The Lioness has aggression set to 0, which means she won't attack anything unless attacked.
4) Sahloknir somehow comes back from the dead and just flies around. He sometimes dissapears in thin air, (yet you can still hear him), takes no damage and refuses to attack anyone.
NPCs still try to shoot him down.

I've had quite a few bugs - the visual ones don't bother me much. Sure, I saw odd dragons and guards hovering over the Riften Canol and such oddities - but that is funny, not game-breaking.

Game-breaking for me is that my main char can't finish numerous quests due to stuff I can't control or had no way of knowing at the time. Her quest log is crowded with stuff I can do nothing about.

"Return to the Jarl of Riften" is one - she said she wanted to make me Thane once I bought and visited my house. -But she doesn't. Tried handing Riften to the Imperials on a silver platter - doesn't help. Still no Thane-title.
-- Solution: Talk to the Jarl BEFORE visiting your new home, once you bought it. -No damn way I could have known THAT to start with - so no Thane-title in my favorite city for me. I found no solution to this one - stuck in quest log forever.

"Visit the College in Winterhold" - Yups, I did that. -I even became Arch-Mage, on my THIEF no less, trying to get that silly objective done! Nope, quest log still tells me to visit the College - probably due to a random dragon attacking while I was being showed around on my initial tour, causing my tour-guide (forgot her name) to bug out and refuse to speak to me. I managed to get the quest to continue by simply moving to next part (Attend first lesson), but yeps - I am Arch-Mage, and yet I apparantly never "Visited the College of Winterhold".

"Collect Bounty from (Insert former Steward here)" - Make sure to do ALL bounty-quests before advancing the civil war. I didn't - that was stupid. The new steward will NOT hand you a bounty for what the old steward sent you off to kill, and you are stuck with yet another misc. objective in quest log that you can't do.

Hjerim - the house in Windhelm.... ARRRRRGH!!!! -Need I say more? My main character never triggered the initial quest, and hours on the net trying to figure out how to bypass it was to no avail for quite a while. See the threads about it in this forum. so - damn - annoying! I got the house now by cheating with console commands, but never use it due to bugged lighting etc. - and I also had to remove various mess + old furniture manually by using console commands.... Not good enough :(

-And there's more... that I can't remember right now. My char is getting old now, I had her since I got Skyrim a few days after launch, when things couldn't just be foreseen by looking at the wiki every time. Some day, I will try making a new char, and try and "do it right" to hopefully resist the worst bugs - but it will probably be when my main is done, I tired of Skyrim, played something else for some months or a year, and THEN return, if ever.
Hopefully, by then, most of these bugs will have been fixed anyway, and someone clever will have made the otherwise useless thieves in Thieves' Guild into marriageable characters after one becomes Guild Master - just like in The Companions when their quests are done ;-)

I've done several semi-playthroughs. Quest-related bugs don't seem to happen consistently even on the same PC. The Windhelm house glitch I mentioned earlier has only happened to me one out of four times. I'm not sure why that is.

Only had two bugs, both involving dragons. One got caught semi-underground in solitude leaving odd pieces of bones above. The other failed his landing close to death and got caught at the edge of a cliff (I'll forgive this one though just because it looked way too awesome when a dead dragon tumbled down the mountainside).

Also did Mage College quest with no bugs on PC. Only bug I've encountered at the college is with Tolfdir's Alembic (he asks me to find it, but it doesn't trigger in the journal, nor do the pieces show up where they are supposed to be.

150+ hours across 5 characters and while I've run into many bugs, none of them affected how I play except for a Companion quest refusing to start (the one when you return and kodlak is dead...next quest wont start). I think it had to do with a quest from the jarl in winterhold because I noticed he gives you a quest that sends you to the SAME location as the companion quest after kodlak is dead.

I'd say the most annoying, since I'm sure it's a bug, are dragons not attacking me. It'll pass right over me with me even hitting it and goes after the wildlife instead. I once came across TWO dragons, ancient and blood when doing a quest, and they chose to totally ignore me and fight slaughterfish. Yes, slaughterfish! Thank god I had esbern and delphine with me so the dragons attacked them, otherwise I would have never brought them down. Having this happen several times forced me to get dragonrend just so I didn't have to spend 20 minutes chasing dragons lol.

Aside from that, I see a few graphical bugs, like floating rocks and trees, but overall I'm satisfied. When I had Fallout 3, that was the buggiest piece of crap ever. I loved the game so I withstood it freezing every 1-2 hours and some areas not even being accessible (froze upon entry) and the final part of the one expansion (that leaves it open ended and higher lvl cap) being unplayable as it took me 3 hours instead of what would take 5 minutes because it was THAT laggy.

Not much after over 100 hours gameplay.

The first dragon I killed corpse fell out of the sly as I exited Whiterun

Every once and awhile the textures won't load properly adn I have to restart the game,

Has 3 CTD. Way fewer than Oblivion and thet just crashed didn't hanfgor freeze.

Master Bori wouldn't give me the whirlwind sprint shout but I reloaded and he gave it to me then.

That's about it on my PC.

In +250 hours of playing I've noticed half a dozen bugs and had 7 freezes. I've had 2 quest progression issues, one was the orc in the college of winterhold, he wouldn't update his quest so I had to find the item without his help. The 2nd one involved Calcemo, I had a Dwarven item in my inventory but the option didn't come up even though I had the item in my inventory. The solution I dropped the item and picked it back up, the quest proceeded normally.

I thought last night I was going to have a major bug with Vigilent Tyrannus because I attacked the other 2 vigilent places and never accepted the quest for Tyrannus but I was able to get around it by knocking him out and then quickly talking to him when he got up.

This game has brought me back from the death, i was not on the xbox much at all in recent years, this game is brilliant, suddnely im 90 hours in after 4 weeks, work 50 hours per week to boot, havent encountered one single bug worthy of mention.

What really amazes me is the minute, irrelevant things that some will actually say are bugs/glitches... the world is forever changing and some people are born to complain.

I'm on the Xbox and I was at around 200 hours with my previous character and I think I experienced the game freezing TWICE and a word wall not giving me the word. That was it. Not counting weird little bugs such as giants flying into the air when you killed them etc. People who whine about such things... go play something else. Ridiculous. BUT, once I reached 200 hours, the game became much slower, for instance when waiting, it took a really long time before the slider started to count down with the hours, and the thing that made me begin on a new character was that the game started to lag. NOT talking about game breaking PS3 lag here. It ran as smoothly as ever, but once every 30 seconds or so, the game just froze up for a split second, then released (sound was not affected). Not a big deal for many, but it really took the joy away for me. But whatever... I had basically done as much as I could with that character, and my new one is so much cooler anyway, so blessing in disguise, I guess. Until the same thing happens to this session of course...

I haven't had many bugs either. Besides having some undroppable quest items in my inventory from quests I haven't seen any bugs.

Oh wait, there's Humpy the Dragon skeleton, that slowly followed me home. I killed him near the farms outside Whiterun, and he's slowly humped and twitched his way towards Whiterun, where he's now happily humping the left side of the gate to town. The guards have taken to standing behind each other on the right side of the gate, and I can't really blame them although i can assure you Humpy hasn't harmed anyone since I killed him. But I don't think of him as a bug, he's more of a feature :D
