Basically just putting my own 2c in that this is a shameful release. I hope they learn. I know I did Its only been 4 days. not sure of the statistical breakdown on game forums but general market research shows that those voicing are a small fraction. the kind of major snafu that cripples future sales.

I don't understand what is so offsetting about this game, i find it very enjoyable, and do not at all understand why people are having such issues.

That is, unless you aren't on the PC, in which case I'd be pretty upset about not having console commands too. But its not like I'd get upset about it, since there's no way I'd buy a game like Fallout for anything other than the PC.

Except for two glitches I had which I personally knew from F3, I've yet to experience a bug.
Yes, that is a very subjective kind of view, but people should also start to use numbers correctly. Of those 1500 threads, more than two thirds could be merged because they are about the same basic issues. ^_^

Mine's hell in a handcart. I just read the warranty...it only applies to the physical disc. The thought occurred to me that imprinted programming is on the disc, therefore a good legal argument could be made that the disc is faulty.

However, like many others I shall persevere until the extra funding for the overtime budget for the programmers pays off for us the players.

While im apart of the group of people who were disillusioned when playing FO3 and held that open-eyed view into NV (not being zombified by Hype) you and I both know no games come out bug free, every game is going to have somekind of issue or another FO3 was no different. It seems people held conceptions and expectations for this game, and were supposedly dissappointed...but its a game, all games have bugs. its fully understood one shouldnt shell out 60 bucks and have a bug ridden game and then await patches to fix issues that should more or less not have been so prevelant on release.

but look on the bright side.. your not paying for the patches and fixes.
