I usually run the game on high, 1280x720, with AA at 2 and AF at 6, with some stuttering/choppiness here and there, usually being smooth indoors but choppy outside. I tried it using 1600x900 and it looks alot better, but is incredibly choppy and laggy, and it doesn't seem to make a difference using different AA/AF settings. Also VATS is very laggy all the time, usually taking 2-3 seconds until i can target body parts. I'm justing wondering if this is a known issue, or would it be my computer specs? Thanks.

Anyway, this is the Gamebryo engine and it will stutter like that because of the way it must load the environment on demand. Also, your timing for getting into New Vegas wasn't the best. The game was recently busted and with Steam you have no choice. Hopefully, the NV stutter remover has been updated. It is blasphemy on these forums, but at this time I would say you should have gone with Fallout 3. Anyway, here is the stutter remover, and be aware that it needs another program to work.

FNV should use all six cores, but not all your RAM. Try the 4GB RAM enabler.

Ahh ok thanks nenina. Have actually logged 200+ hours into FO3 on xbox 360, but will defininitely check PC version out.
