1rst person view

Post » Wed Jun 13, 2012 4:32 pm

Except when looting, shooting arrows, and fighting in small rooms/tunnels I tend to use the 3rd person view while playing Skyrim but it really annoys me when I have a weapon out then I'm passing by a table with a few loose items on it so i switch to 1rst person and BAM all of a sudden i go from holding my sword off to the side to holding it right in front of my face blocking a quarter of the screen. Thankfully I don't have a shield and mace equipped I could only imagine how much of the screen gets blocked while having those equipped. Why do game developers feel like they have to put them in front of your face like your some kind of idiot that cant remember what weapons you have equipped unless they are shown right in front of your face. Guess that's it. thanks for letting me vent.

I like the OP have the same problem. (hehe made a post about this too, we think alike :P)) Thing is, I tried sheathing it, but takes the Immersion out when I am sneaking in a cave and I SHOULD have my weapons out.

I don't think it would be that bad if Beth made new 1st person animation having the weapon forward more.

Or just play in 1st person. Feels more immersive that way anyways ...
