2011 ROCKS!

Post » Sat May 28, 2011 5:23 am

Skyrim: The 5 instalment of the TES series that is set in a cold mountain province called Skyrim where the old dragon god has been awaikened, and you, the Dragonborn will have to walk 7000 steps to learn the teachings of Greybeards.

Mass Effect 3: The last instalment in the Mass Effect trilogi that will, supposedly, take place on Earth where sheppered must fight an invasion of Reapers that are about to destroy everything.

Kingdoms of Amalur: An open world title(Like Skyrim) that has Todd McFarlane(Spawn), Ken Rolston(Designer on Morrowind, Oblivion) working in the same team and could become the main competition for Skyrim.

Dark Souls: The spiritual sequel to the one of the most chalanging, satasfying games of all times, Deamons Souls, will not only remain a chalage but it will feature an Open World.

Dragon Age 2: The next in the series game, Dragon Age 2 will put you in the boots of Hawk who will become known as a champion of Kirkwall.

Are your mind's blown yet??
And these are only the big titles, and I'm pretty sure that some of them wont make it because it just sounds to good.
Skyrim is still my choice because I know it will be big, solid and awesome open world game that will be about your character.

I'm going to ignore the horrible butchering of some of the words you wrote in that post and say that yes, I am looking forward to 2011. Although I think we may already have a thread like this - I'm not sure.

Edit: And forgive me if English isn't your first language - I can't tell the difference these days, with the way some people write...

I've personally seen some 2011 rocks. Brand new lava flows, rocks formed right before my eyes in 2011.

I don't think he was making fun of your spelling seeing as you spelled rocks right lol.

Anyways I agree with you, so many great games coming out this year. I'm debating on whether or not to purchase Dragon Age though, because I want it for 360 (have it for PC, haven't beaten it) but..I don't know if I'll play it before DA 2 comes out, along with all the other games I have.

I'm also gonna add Uncharted 3 and Twisted Metal to your list.

Yes, 2011 is looking like a good year - Skyrim, Deus Ex, TW2, Rage. I was thinking about getting DA2, until I learned about EA/Bioware's customer control - I mean, DRM for PC. I might pick it up later on 360 if it gets solid reviews.

I am not too happy. You see I am pretty much broke. And lots of gamies coming out (skyrim, kingdoms of amular, darksouls, BF3, etc) will likely eat up a hell of alot of time too.
Last year only good game imo was RDR, and now I have loads of good games coming out at the same time, and not enough time or money, then after that it will likely be a few years of crap, occasional good game.
Ah well great year if you have pletny of time and money.

Anywhere from then to Q1 2012 most likely, maybe even Q2 2012.

2011 will probably be an interesting year with new game coming out like Duke Nukem Forever and Skyrim :obliviongate: . But right now I'm hating it, I'm snowed in and board out of my mind. All I have right now are my pets to keep me company, a Fushigi ball (basicly a small glass therapy ball), Fallout 3 with working DLC (my other version of F3 didn't seem to work with it) and God of War Ghost of Sparta on PSP to keep me entertained.
