Maybe I'm just jaded with cyncism, but at this point, about the only difference in each new console is shinier wrapping paper, no real new substance :shrug:

As long as games are still being made for my PS3, I won't be buying any new consoles. I don't see the point of spending a load of money on a new console when mine does everything I want it to do.

Ill pretty much be done with gaming by that point. I already play less and less, I just can't see myself spending $500 on a new system just to get better graphic.

You know, there was a point when we were single celled organisms totally okay with just replicating.

Personally, I feel like graphics got where they needed to be eight years ago. All of this progress is just new computer bits that need to get off my lawn!

I'm not sure I'll bother with the next generation of console games. My Pc offers so much more than my PS3 did, and consoles are taking on many of the drawbacks of PCs like eternal patching and installation. Maybe I'll get one when they get cheaper, and if there's some really decent exclusives, but I don't see myself as being at the cutting edge of console gaming any more. A lot of this generation's "must haves" haven't appealed to me.



And some of them still do to this day, in Norfolk and Cornwall for example.
