What's the latest patches is three advantage in terms of speed with installing to the hard disk?

From what I understand, installing the game to the HDD, helps with increasing load speed (ie: zoning in and out of an area, loading a saved game, etc) and, supposedly, makes for smoother graphic rendering.

I played RAGE without installing and loading times weren't terrible, but noticeable. After installing, loading seems to be about half the time and the graphics didn't seem better, but seemed to render seamlessly.

Haven't tried it with Skyrim yet

I remember at launch, instlaling it actually caused lower res textures. Not sure as of patch 1,,3

Actually with 1.2 it didn't help to install to HDD AT ALL. It actually made it worse for me.

I did every step exactly as he said in that vid and it works, greatly. And take heed of his words "Wait until the disc stops spinning in the Disc Tray BEFORE PRESSING START!" it actually helps the disc load all the textures easier. And have done it everytime to no failure.

Also, sometimes textures don't load but if you get close enough to said object it'll POP in like it's supposed to. So yes, 1.3 is definately the Patch you'd want to install to the HDD on. But like I said.. follow that videos steps TO THE TEETH. 1 false move and you could F up everything..

(His videos old, he doesn't use the NEW Dashboard.. so pllleeeaasssse pay attention to that!^^^)

Read my post bro. Watch the vid and do ALL the steps he says. It'll take about 20-25 mins. for the HDD re-caching, patches, etc. And about the same depending on how fast you can escape the Catacombs on the new Char. I'd say at least 45-50 mins of your time to do but be patient.

Follow EVERYthing this guy says to the teeth, hell rewind ALOT if you have to. That's what I did.

Also, after clearing the cache it basically ONLY downloads 1.3 (IF IM CORRECT..)
