Yes this game is superb, i can play c2, but COD, BF, not so much, too boring. Best 2 shooters for me are Brink and TF2, love em both, look wise, gameplay wise, and overall concept wise. Cant wait for more maps, guns, outfits, abilities and maybe...just maybe a new objective type, or even.......oh...oh......oooooohh class, would be epic or a 3rd faction just to pwn what we thought we knew. aliens or outsiders either would be fine, maybe a outside god squad assault group

This comment really got my thinking... what if they made a brink 2... and security and resistance were forced together to fight against this unknown force invading they ark. At first resistance sees this as a joy knowing an outside world is coming to the ark and they can escape yet there joy turns to fear right when they see there here attacking... not saving them. There could be 2 storys... the story if you decide to work with resistance and security or if you decide to turn this into an all out FFA and divide the ark into thirds... kinda like MAG even know i dont have a PS3. But this sounds like a VERY VERY good idea... you thought that all hell unleased already? wait until you see this next faction!

Edit: I see your point it has been talked about. We all know the outside is full of savage people. So they will come to the ark soon.

I think three sides that are samey-soso with no real development or reason to care within the game itself is just worse then two that do that already.

i dont know why you wouldnt want another faction. everyone was complaining how brink dosnt have a story well this makes it so theres a lot more of a story to tell... a 3rd faction makes it interesting seeing that boat coming towards the ark... you can tell SD has something in store already for brink 2. Honestly i think they will make a brink 2 cause they have such a huge story to tell

I don't want a third faction because the first two don't have much development to begin with. Their storytelling is all in the background and even then it leaves no impact. A third faction would just make me go why? Especially since the Resistance doesn't even know what it wants. They say escape, but they don't want to. No. They want to bring more people to the ark. Get on a boat and float off away somewhere. They're not forcing you to stay, they're forcing you to not bring back a bunch of jerks who seem greedy and bloodthirsty.

Ah, i'm just over thinking it. But they have plenty to work with, I think they should start there before bringing in other people who seem to be available as plain villains and ruin the 'no one is particularly wrong' mind set that was kinda put towards the game.

maybe: because if the resistance DID contect the outside world, they will come help them they thougt, but outside thinks differend, they are gona to destroy (or capture) the ark, just for fun might.

1. resistance > safe the people and take over the ark
2. security > conquer any terrorism and defend the ark
3. ''the outsiders'' > destroy or capture the ark

I say no. They have a hard enough time getting enough people playing BRINK to fill two faction sides. A third faction would just mean more bots in the game.

Also, I agree with Isaac. Develop the existing story more before you try to bring in a third faction.

what boat are you talking about? the one in the final cut scene? that was the head of the security, not people from the outside world.
