12.7mm Ammo Bug

Post » Sun Mar 06, 2011 11:27 am

I was surprised to find some 12.7mm rounds and see that it shows a weight of 0.01 in the PipBoy, the same as the .22LR. I looked at the weights in the G.E.C.K. and the .22LR has an actual weight of 0.0076, and the 12.7mm weighs 0.0064. This must be a typo, someone added an extra zero to the 12.7mm ammo weight value. A 12.7mm round should not weigh less than a little .22LR.

That's just pathetic. How could the devs have let such a critical bug slip by?

Visit http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Bloodborne_Cave ASAP, I think that it's one of the best loot places outside of Vault 34.

Yep, you figure 12.7mm pistol rounds would weight as much as .50GI or .50 Action Express in real life. Somewhere around half an ounce a round with all the powder, big brass cases, and a fat grain bullet. At least it has knockdown power, I killed Trooper Ghouls with one 12.7mm headshot in and out of VATS.
