Hi there,


I reinstalled the game to have the original english version instead of the german one with copied english sound and text files. I accidentially deleted the userdata as well, so I had to start all over again, but that's ok. The problem is, the abilities I have ingame do not entirely reflect the abilities I have spent points in. Meaning, for example, I am mainly medic and didn't spend a single point in Speed Boost, yet, I have it available ingame/online. Furthermore, I am at level 12 or 13 atm, nevertheless I am able to use a Lazarus grenade when playing online. I didn't even have that Lazarus grenade on my former profile.

Someone having the same issues?

Important note: Seems to be our own server so far (hosted by 3rd party povider) only. How can I reset the "memory" of this server? I don't want to play with abilities I shouldn't be able to use. I joined another server and my abilities were fine again.

most likely its related to the uninstalation and reintallation using diferent languages, perhaps steam got messed up by that too. i would backup the game before that using both steams backup and manual copying stuff , then i would uninstall it or opt steam to delete local content, not that any of that might exlude problems later on.

better unistall it with the best method possible u can get and then start over

Hm, it's only the single server so far, are you sure it isn't rather a server issue?

Could someone gimme a hint which files need to be deleted client and/or server side to remove this bugged ability setting?

Probably someone can help me. I heard deleting the brinkdedconfig.cfg file could help? Will try that when at home.
